If you use a Prusik Knot on the cord of a Hamskea rest it can be loosened and retightened in seconds with no tools.

I'm a newer Hoyt archer and I've struggled getting a perfect bullet hole. I'm gonna try your techniques to help resolve my issue. I'm shooting the Alpha x 30.

Great tune video. Thanks! I have two VTM’s, one with the Hamskea and one with the QAD. I like features from both of them, but in the end, I like the QAD a touch better because of the rest being up and then dropping away.

It's good to have a buddy with a home shop and all the required expensive tools. Better than waiting behind 20 people trying to shoot their trads on the range at the LBS :)

FYI, the LCA drawboard attachment doesn't give you a true reading of your cam timing, because the bow isn't perfectly vertical. The drawboard kicks the bottom of the bow further forward than the top of the bow, essentially tilting the bow backwards. If you pushed the bottom of the bow backwards until the top and bottom of the bow are even, you'll see the drawstops change positions in relation to their cables.

What ?? , nobody here understands what you are trying to say.. There is ZERO reason for the bow to be vertical.. Often draw boards on total horizontal
@l.i.archer5379 Жыл бұрын
@@kylemacdonell1450 wanna bet the bow not being vertical when drawn back throws off the cam timings?? And just because YOU didn't understand the technicalities of what I said, doesn't make it less true.

I will still always broadhead tune my bow. If I can shoot fix blade as accurate as my field points then I can shoot any mechanical head

Can we get a close up of what he was mentioning about the cable from the QAD rest?
@sinepari9160 Жыл бұрын
He uses a slip knot and a little serving to keep it centered.

This video right here, is why i have switched to bowtech. Its so much easier to tune. It would have been shooting bullet holes with 3 shots. But the rx7 is one of the nest bows ever built imo.
