Tuning My FL5 Civic Type R! Hondata FlashPro + Phearable Stage 2 93

After 10 months, 6 Track Days and over 13.5k miles, I finally decided to jailbreak and tune my FL5 Type R!
Phearable announced a free Stage 2 tune ($250 value) with the purchase of a FlashPro device to the first 20 buyers, so I had to do it!
My car is completely stock performance wise with exception of a K&N air filter. So far, car feels incredibly more responsive and powerful in the low and mid-range. Up top I don't feel like it has gained 90 horsepower, but that is to be expected with a small stock turbo.
I plan to do more performance mods in the spring in preparation for track days: radiator, intercooler, downpipe, intake and exhaust.

Just a thought, I know it will be a touch harder to frame, but the quality if you can use the phone's back main camera would be many many times better. It's got a bigger sensor so you'd probably even have some background blur, plus it has optical image stabilization so it'll take some of the bumpy roads out of the footage, and also sharpness and clarity will be much better. Maybe a mirror on the back of the phone to see yourself but truly it would boost the quality of your content while in the car! Dope tune, and love your vids

Thanks for the tip! I used the front camera only in the beginning. The in-car footage driving was using the primary camera but due to my tints and the dismal weather the ISO was probably super high. I even had the map lights on haha.

I sent mine to Derek at IMW. You pay for it in advance, ship it to them, and they ship it back. I got mine back within 48 hours

You would just order the flashpro from Phearable and you can send the ECU to Hondata or Imw for the jailbreak

Have the downpipe, exhaust, intercooler, unlock and flash pro is next. Downpipe makes a huge difference in power without a tune. All 3 put on a difference times and i could feel a power increase everytime with each individually. Pick up a rmm if you havent. Youll need it.
