tuning problems on a guitar? maybe the string is getting stuck in the nut.

Draw with pencil in groove Graphite is a good dry lubricant

only works with the wound strings but if you dont have a nut file you can use an old string. takes a while but i recently had to do this for the bottom 2 slots on my mustang and it worked perfect

Guild 12 string guitar I have that same problem when tuning but the Ping sound is coming from the bridge ? Any idea how to cure it.. seems to me that the bridge is to sharp on its edge ?

I just changed my strings and the high E sounds muted when i play first 3 frets. From the 4th fret on i get sound is this my problem or i got something else?
