Possibly the 99 ron fuel and the Stage 2 tune against 95 makes a big difference even @ stage 1, definitely will feel more aggressive and responsive, will make for a great road car. Corn juice E85 different gravy LOL Possibly could always try an Octane booster, which in my experience helps with responsiveness. Plus cleans the injectors at the same time.

when i mapped my car it gained about 30bhp but 100nm of torque so now in 4th 5th and 6th gear it rips it never slows down until it runs out of gears deffo the torque made a difference.

For Stage 3 for sure go with an S280 turbo. They are by far the best performing and most reliable turbo out there. I went s280 last week and its absolutely crazy compared to stage 2.

Good video I had a stage 2 mk7 until cylinder 1 objected. You put over 40 kilos of fuel in, that would add 0.3 of a second to a 0 to 60. Put less fuel in to keep weight down.

I had a similar experience. It's not overly suprising. The stock to stage one is always a bigger jump with most tuners. I went from Revo Stage 1 to 2. It was quicker (especially mid range). Although not overly sure it was 'worth' the amount you spend on the required hardware (exhaust / sports cat / intercooler / intake ). I still love it. Yet like you didn't get the buzz I did from the first tune. I never went stage 3. Yet I'm sure a new turbo would be a whole new ball game 😂

@@JoshBatesYT It's definitely quicker. If it was just a stage 2 Remap then a no brainer. It's the near £1500 on hardware that's the issue. I think it's a massive outlay for a 30bhp (ish) increase. Although they look and sound far better with the hardware. Still cracking cars at either stage one or two 👌

Yeah in my opinion stage 2 is a waste of money stage1 is more fun. Stage 3 is where it's at I've never regretted it it's a game changer mate. Class video buddy 👍

You would have basically just traded torque for bhp with stage 2 due to the better flow on the exhaust side (the decat), probably why it’s not crazy noticeable compared to stage 1

Not massively but if you go somewhere to do it it means they can fine tune it a bit better and can also dyno it see how smooth it is

I suppose the difference is less noticed because of air resistance. Going from 200bhp to 300bhp cuts 2 seconds roughly on an audi A3 to S3. The 300bhp to 400bhp from S3 to RS3 cuts only 1 second even though it's 100bhp more powerful at almost similar weight. I'd imagine 500bhp would be close cutting 0.5 seconds so unfortunately the higher you go the less acceleration time is gained due to just atmospheric push back. 🤷🏻‍♂️
