Just purchased a 335i, somebody definitely went way over the top with the "burble tune" sounded like gunshots anytime I lifted off above 3.5k rpm. My MHD came in today, I flashed back to stock and got rid of it. Going to do the Stage 1 now.

With the cable you have to give whatever your device utilizes.. I too use the orange mhd adapter with my 07 328. But I use protool. Gotta go see if they added we n(a guys yet...

@@jesseignacio2455 Yes if you have iOS Apple you’ll need a Wi-Fi adapter if you have an android you either need Dkan cable or android device.

Just personal preference! I liked the wave of torque early on in the petal for driving around town. For track work might be better to have linier so it’s more predictable. Can aways switch back if you don’t like it

Sounds like the flasher license and maps pack was linked to the previous owner’s account. Unless you had access to the device they used to flash you would need to purchase your own version to make any changes

I flashed it last night, feels amazing. Going to do some logs to make sure everything I running smoothly. I’ve noticed the car vibrates a bit at idle. Any ideas?

from my experience it could be MAF, spark plugs or ur fuel injectors

@@boostedanny it went away, it was an ignition coil so replaced sparks and packs. After a muffler delete the vibration is back but I assume that’s from the exhaust

Burbles are a part of the tune so you’ll need to purchase one of the maps

I believe PPK will serve as your base map that MHD will save as stock when flashing their tunes. When you flash back to stock you’ll end up back with just PPK

if you are only getting stage 1 then no you don't need the super license, the MHD app is the only thing you need to buy the license but you need something like the MHD adapter to apply the tune to your car

oct 93 is same as ron 98, you can select oct or ron above and then select the number

Here in Greece we only have 95,98 and 100 octane gas. If i flash my 335i with mhd will i ruin the program because of the fuel?

MHD has different map settings for different fuel octanes, just select the correct one and you’ll be fine

you don't need any flex fuel hardware to run 93 or 95 oct, you also don't HAVE to run the new V10 maps but it the most refined and reliable version on the app, so not mandatory but recommended

Once done it can be removed. If you’d like to do separate data logging or live gauges then you would leave it plugged in.

Unfortunately theres nothing like MHD for the non turbo motors like the n52. Only option for 328 is some bolt ons like 3 stage manifold and a tune, you should be able to make around 270 hp since the 328i basically has a downtuned version of the 330i / 130i engine.

Look into a 330 intake manifold swap for some more power. Certain exhausts might give you some burbles but I don’t know much about 328i tunes

If it’s the first time flashing MHD then yes. The MHD software will need to be loaded to the car computer regardless of the tune for the first time and it’s going to take a while to complete

@@lifebycars5849 I just completed some maintenance on my 2008 335i (arm charge pipe, DCI, dinan ignition coils, 2 step colder spark plugs, oil catch can, changed lpfp sensor and cleaned the throttle body). Are there any adaptation resets (ProTools) that are required/useful that I should do as well?

I noticed you could knock off the 02 sensor with the tune would that help with smog then ? I’m not passing smog because I’m missing my bank 1 02 sensor would I b able to pass smog after using the tune to by pass the check engine light ?

It will stop the check engine light from coming on but your emissions monitor still won’t read as ready

Get youself a set of tdo 4 17t turbos then you will no what these cars can really do, Ive had mine in now for three years put them in myself,best $ 1500 ive ever spent, and I have had the car for 15 years and never a problem that I couldnt fix myself, trick is stay away from E85, best part is looking at the Dodge Comaro and Mustang boys faces as there left behind by a stock looking E90 BMW.

V10 stage 2+ gives you the most reliable power worth every $, but if your running E40 go with the V5 stage 2 map highest power output tune on the app
