This is the absolute best video that I could find on how to do the Tunisian Purl Stitch !!! I'm working on placemats, and although that pattern does have video-links, I wasn't able to learn anything from them. Thank you very much for your videos and your style of teaching.

Great Pearl tip re setting up the yarn forward. I saw it taught on craftsy and I couldn’t get my head around it. Nor keep tension consistent the way she taught it. So found you and this is so easy. Cheers!

I wonder if you have done tunisian crochet yet? If you havent, or anyone reading this is hesitant about it, don't be. I love it and it was very easy to learn. It looks harder than it is. The only thing is that it always curls,no matter what. just adding a border helps or just time will help too and blocking it may help in some situations. i have no idea if the purl stitch one curls or not,but the regular Tunisian does. Purl tunisian is what im learning today.

It is really hard to see what to do because the corner of the work is curling up and totally obstructing the view! 1:15-1:20 for example, is almost impossible to see.

Thank you was wondering how to do this stitch, just learning the tunisan stitch and working on an afghan which has been curling and found one could use this stitch to minimize the curl.

Mikey can you help me please? Foundation row - FP. Insert hook in 2nd backbump from hook, yo, pull up loop, * insert hook in next backbump, yo, pull up loop, rep from * until you have 5 loops on hook. RP. 5 sts R1 - FP. T-inc, tps in next st, t-inc, tss in next st (insert st marker here and replace every row), t-inc, tps in next st, t-inc, tss in last st (always insert hook under both vertical bars of last st here and in every row). RP. 9 sts R1 is more than 5 sts. It's 8 sts, coming out to 12sts, not 9 sts. How do I do this?

Mikey I really would love to get the pattern for the black and white blanket you show us in the background. Do you have that pattern or know where I can buy/get it? Thank you!! Love you guys!! ( this is Jana Connell from FB)
@byequalmeasure62155 жыл бұрын
Hi, so the last stitch on the row is a simple stitch. The one that goes into the chain? you did a simple stitch and not a purl stitch on the last stitch on the first row of purls... but you didn't verbalize that you were changing from Pearl to simple stitch... so I'm a little confused. Hope you can help!
