Tunnel of Trees in our 2023 C8 Chevrolet Corvette !

In this video my wife and I travel to northern Michigan to drive the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Byway from Harbor Springs to Cross Village. I provide some tips on when to visit...and show what you have to watch out for (like the local wildlife!)

Great video!!!!! And your timing is impeccable! My wife and I just drove our 2021 ELB C8 up to a bed&breakfast in Wisconsinthis past weekend for our 17th anniversary. While eating dinner, my wife says to me that she knows where we are driving next October! The Tunnel of Trees!!! And now today I see your video!!! Perfect timing!!! Thank you!

There are wonderful views of Lake Michigan from the “back yard” outside dining / hang out area of legs Inn. Also the Jelly Rolls Blues Band has (had) a standing Saturday night gig at Legs Inn forever. If you think it’s “fun driving” during the day, try it in the Winter when it’s snow covered :-O It’s fairly crowded in the Spring, and of course during the Summer Season, and for weekends. As you mentioned, not really a spirited driving road because of bicyclists / walkers in the Summer and Fall … And trees that are literally inches from the edge of the blacktop.

Those wheels just look ‘off’ on that car.

They are the base wheels. We did not upgrade them as we were trying to keep the costs down.

Spend the money. Or get them powder coated for $100 each.
