is this a right way to do destructions for cinematics, made inside game engine? First simulate it in max and then bake the animation and bring it into the engine...?

If you texture an object before applying Rayfire, will the individual objects keep the texture when they are broken apart? Thanks for the video!

Hi Mikeeanzo - unfortunately 3dsmax does not work on OSX, but you can use Maya / Cinema4D / Blender on the mac which are all very good 3d programs. Thanks for watching!!

How about unwraping and texturing the fragments? 99% of videos I see are just white material, no textures. How easy or hard would it be to unwrap fragments?

Very good tutorial thank you Now I don't have rayfire but I've been playing with MassFX and i like it too..not as simple as this one..but the only thing I think ray fire have in advantage (as i saw in this video) is the fragmentation...now is worth it to get rayfire or no?....and If i want to keep using MassFX is there anyway to break my object? a script?
@Ruan3D9 жыл бұрын
Khaled Almunla Heya! Yeah you can try a script called "Fracture Voronoi" - Just google that and you will find it - and it's free!

Justin Pedersen Ah that's awesome! I am also from Cape Town (Strand actually) - This is my side line hobby, hopefully I can do it fulltime one day haha -- So what do you specialize in? VFX? 3d?
@justinpedersen917411 жыл бұрын
tunnelviziontv I have played around with both VFX and 3d and at the point i enjoy both of them, but i am hoping to one day go into the CGI field. possibly live performance, don't know if you saw rockey horror? they have animations that run with the performance. Im head of my school's animation club and we did similar things for our plays and i really enjoyed that.
@Ruan3D11 жыл бұрын
Justin Pedersen Yes I saw RH in Cape Town - really cool effect!! What software do you use to do that - of do you just project the video clips with a normal media player?
