Күн бұрын

Not since the infamous battle between Casual and Saafir has the entire Bay Area been so intensly locked onto the Bay Area's number one radio station-KMEL. Last night [Friday April 19th 1996] was an exceptional night as the Bay got treated to an interview of a lifetime. KMEL's Westside Radio program played host to Tupac Shakur in what may be best described as a home coming interview.

This man was loved by all. Black, white, brown, yellow, ALL. Im a Native American and i can truthfully and honestly say, Pac's influence on me, through his lyrics to the man he is, touched me deeply. 20 years later and you are missed so much Pac. I hated you when you got bailed out, joined DeathRow, and then cursed NY out. But I always knew he loved NY and as I got older I understood better. NY didn't show him love when he was at his hardest time and here comes Suge from California putting up all that bread and showing love. I would've done the same.. This guy was so ahead of his time.

Bro what he wanted was people to be aware of thug life. Ppl sticking together instead of fighting with each other over petty things. Whether u are black, white, latino, Asian, didn't matter. We all have to help each other no matter our strengths or weaknesses. And not using these weakness as an advantage and extort others. Pac was really about bringing ppl together and having each others back. A rich person having 36 million dollars in his account while there are poor people in the streets starving made no sense to him (as he said In the video). Tupac says he was pissed at biggie because he was yelling MAFIA instead of Thug Life like tupac asked him too.

Man i’ll be an old man still tapping in to hear 2pac’s words from time to time…to say he was ”something special” don’t quite do him justice…the good and the bad, the ups and downs, the lessons…it’s bigger than music, bigger than movies, more than just words…there is a spiritual realness that can be felt, touches the spirit…i’m forever grateful for his life

@GreenPointsCorp He's mentioning how Pac was discussing investing in the stock market. This was unheard of back for a rapper and just as a person of color. It's only recently you're seeing investing in stock being widely known. Back then you had to know someone to get the knowledge. Nowadays you have Robinhood, Coinbase, etc. So not only was Pac talking about that. He was also investing now you have every good rapper investing
