I had to get a new tweezer set just for this haha, I don’t like using the other ones I have as they’re pointed and very sharp on the ends, I’ve already accidentally jabbed a few plants with it. Thank you so much again Lyn, from Edith & myself to you and Hans, have a wonderful Monday and new week ❤️🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜

Great success on your pollination as both cacti developed fruits. And what patience you got trying to pick up all of the seeds! Why I don’t have any Tubernicarpus in my collection, I don’t know. It has lovely flowers. 😃 But I voted haworthia. 😠 😉😆 I will be waiting for the next video, then:

Fantastic video, Daz!👍 Congratulations for the good amount of seeds you had😃. I have two questions. Please, don't you let the seeds dry and why? And how do you store them until spring, refrigerator or pantry😊? Thank you and wishing a nice Sunday for you and Edith! ☮️🌵💗🌺
@Cactimania
@Cactimania 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Vanesa 😊 No need to let the seeds dry from Turbinicarpus, they come out dry so there’s no messy pulp to worry about like you get from Gymnocalycium. I will store them in these containers in a drawer in the dark away from any moisture until springtime. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a wonderful Sunday too, from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜

Pollination success... Lots of seeds! Will you be sowing any seeds over the Autumn and Winter? (as you have grow lights and heated Propagator) or is it you just prefer to do seed sowing from Spring 😁🌵👍🏻👌🏻Great video and the seeds are tricky to pluck from those Turbinicarpus... they look innocent little Cactus but they don't make it easy to get the seeds 🤣

Hi, my cactus echinopsis subdenudata has a yellowish brownish bottom, and this bottom is only under the soil . Is that normal? And it should be hard the texture of that bottom? And can it be saved. And if it is flowerin, that means there is nothing to worry about?
@Cactimania
@Cactimania 3 жыл бұрын
A lot of cactus will turn brown/barky around their base, as long as it isn’t squishy there’s nothing to worry about, I have a large subdenudata that has had this brown discolouration around the base and underneath for a long time, and if it’s flowering it’s happy, nothing to worry about.
