@FDMtech Well sure, but most of what makes a tuner's specialty is their knowledge of the mechanical side of the engine. If something's not right, being able to know what might be causing it and being able to fix it quickly.

I've always told people not to underestimate the d-series. They don't have the torque of the K's but with the right set up, they're just as good and you can build them a hell of a lot cheaper. I mean that motor's been used in Honda's over twenty years so oem and aftermarket parts are left and right for cheap.

Speed Factory had an awesome build about 10 years a go where they pushed the D-series until the block cracked. When I say the block cracked, it didn't crack a sleeve, the entire block broke externally. They built this cool exo-brace thing to hold it all together.

As an experiment try a 5/8 metal line or something a bight bigger and rill out the factory vacume lines, Then replace with ans fittings to adapt a bigger metal line for more vacum then try it out

Mandatory hood dumps down at pfi. Awesome numbers and you can't beat a head gasket repair in a hour and half. Time it take it home and fix that down pipe and get that new hood on it. I'm not sure about carbon fiber but some of the base color with metallic for lacework would look cool with your logo masked into it. I think could test it out on old hood.
