No it's not. Lol your hand and feet coordination plus hp plus tires and suspension all need to be right. If your gears are cut or you have a no lift shift mod auto's are very beatable

Get a roller 351 block and swap your stuff over, the 351 windsors can make 700 wheel easy and with piston rod swap go 1000 and even there I don’t know of anyone splitting a stock 351 block.

I agree, your losing boost on shifts and your racing and automatic so try to speed shift by leaving your foot on the floor and quickly tapping the clutch and switch gears. I'm not bragging I'm just saying with my street racing career this is amounts to a dead even tie with a beast driver. Great build brother, and happy for you being happy. I felt the adrenaline

Those were some sick runs 😎 I’d suggest cutting a hole in the hood to feed some fresh air to the turbo and I’m not sure what your exhaust setup is but a cutout close to the turbo really helps my car 😎🤙🏼

Your power/weight ratio is much better than the gt500, 2600 is light for a street car, but the faster you go, inevitably youll end up gaining weight to go faster.

Winning until you shift, those RPM drops are brutal. It seems like long as youre high in RPM band youre pulling hard.

I believe a good tune would really wake your fox up. You were right there with him until you shifted and then the car seemed to fall on its face a little till you got back up toward the top of your gear. Sounds like boost is coming in late. Your pushing plenty of boost at 11psi just need to get it to come in more in mid range vs all of it hitting at 5k..nice build though man car definitely has potential

If you put a little 75 or 100 shot of nitrous on it you could use it to get you back into boost at the bottom of each gear.

Put a billet turbo on it so it stays spooled up or a more efficient one that spools faster. Run like a billet 78/75 with like a .95-1.25 AR. Id probably put a 78/75 with a .95

You definitely have less weight being a Fox chassis and it’s stripped also but that GT500 tremec DCT is quick plus 700hp. If you’re stock block it’s going to blow if you push it. Maybe 500hp in those and not for long. Definitely need a boss block forged crank and internals and you can run a lot more boost. Gotta love the sleep Foxbodies

Old school way l would keep my foot down on the gas pedal quick or get (close gear ratios) shift into next gear with rpm still in high rpms. You will be surprised how fast you keep up with automatic 😮😊

Congrats on building the car yourself, its a rare thing nowadays. Your car has way more potential left in it at 11psi. The main thing i see is your shifting, shift that thing like you mean it. I'm sure it has room for improvement on the tune as well. Just keep chipping at it little by little.

I'm not sure if you fixed the handheld comp, but I had a similar problem, but mine was constantly changing the AFR, and I called holley, and they told me the handheld screen was probably dirty to get a tooth pick and run it along the edge of the screen to get any possible debri out. I was very skeptical because my system was pretty and cleaned, but I did it, and I haven't had any issues at all since then!

Nice runs man. If you’re on 11 pounds and holding maybe a couple more psi would be fine. I will say mine made 505/576 with a 70mm 331 on 9 pounds and seen more than that and lived for about 5 years before I sold the motor and got a dart block. Mine had a main support but don’t think they do much. Like I said, mine held together, maybe it was a freak, I don’t know.

Adjust your clutch to in gauge a little higher more so at the top and get used to it, it will help the speed of you shifter just a little more/an never forget to break boost and you don't have to lift when shifting once you become more comfy with it.Great contect !!!

Yo do it from a red light fox bodies are amazing off the line you're giving him way too much of an advantage doing a roll... You'll probably be neck and neck.. anyone that's a fox body nut they're amazing off the line is where it does all the damage I will stomp most cars... Beautiful car BTW. @@JovanMichaels it's basically a bigger & stronger 302. You can press on the gas without worry if you'll break it. You can find them in a junkyard for $400- $600 & put a stroker. You can push them all the way up to 1,000 hp.. you can also use some of the parts from a 302 on the 351 so you'll save money. Some of them match up like aftermarket heads & cam

Mrs Parker needs a Dyno tune. You probably have a lot more available power than you realize that isn't tapped into yet. You could definitely give that gt500 a better run for it's money with a dyno tune. That stock block isn't built for a lot of power though. You need a Boss or Dart 4bolt main block. Facebook has a Ford Term X forum that could provide help with the dash issue.

@@JovanMichaelswhat’s the setup on your car? This is the first video I’ve come across of yours. I’m assuming a stock 302 block? If so you don’t need to buy a crazy expensive aftermarket dart block. Find you a 351w those blocks easily hold 1000hp. You do a 351w with decent flowing heads even just on 10-12lbs of boost that 2800lb car will be a f***ing riot.

If you had a closer gear ratios in the tranny you would have won every race. The motor drops too much rpm with each shift. U pulled on his ass that one run so your power to weight ratio is very well.
