Recently purchased one just to see if they might have updated it and surprisingly the auto stop feature actually works not at the line where it states instead it stops the instant the water (or whatever) touch the tip of the sensor and if fills a bit faster but still haven't fixed the issue once it gets air!!! Still leaves water in the pump but not as much in your video... Well at least there was some improvements lol Oh and another thing I found it at Home Depot for like $5 (clearance sale) but Sam's Club has it for $15

I bought one of the harbor freight ones. They are all pretty much the same. The biggest problem is they are made pretty cheap and fall apart after a few uses. The simple hand siphon tube will probably outlast all of them for a fraction of the cost. They do actually work decent but like you said you can't get every drop out of a tank and you can't fit them into smaller places either. Basically its for siphoning gas, thicker liquids like oil tend to clog it up. And there's no way to clean it very well, or all of it anyway. So once you use it for gas, you probably wouldn't want to use it drain your fish tank or you'd kill any fish left in there.

I ordered two of the Turbo Pumps. Using them are great but have one problem. When the Pump is left unused the batteries go dead.I have no other problems the Auto stop works fine and it drains out my Gas cans pretty much there is some left.

This is a great little pump and works for me! But I ordered two, was sent 3. 1 lasted 2 weeks, 2nd one lasted 4 weeks. I'm on last pump. I'll order more with the hope that they are improved and will last for more than the first two.

ok just watched the video, so this is a cheap version of the Tera fuel pump. I have a Tera and it is awesome. Have had it for over a year and everything works including the auto stop. When I saw the ad i was hoping that it was the Tera and not a cheap CHINA made knockoff. work or not I WILL NOT be buying anything MADE IN CHINA!!! .... EVER!!!

I purchased 2 of the High Performance pumps and what a disappointment. The TV ad said it would pump oil at a rate of 2.5 gallons per minute. After 40 minutes it only pumped less than 1 quart. I changed batteries, moved the unit up, down and every which way. Raised the pump, lowered the pump and still nothing. I called the company that sells them, (ONTEL) and told them I wanted my money back. They agreed and yesterday I sent them back via FEDEX. My suggestion is to forget even contemplating the purchase. Just another piece of junk made in China.

I bought 2 four years ago. I use it quite a bit, especially during the summer, obviously. I've NEVER had a problem with mine and I gave the second one to my neighbor and he likes it too ! IF/WHEN mine quits I'll buy another one in a heartbeat, Mine always shuts off automatically, but, in my opinion, only a fool would trust that feature ... even at the gas pump. YOU TUBE has THOSE videos too I'm sure ...lol, AND there's a REASON most gas pumps no longer have that feature. Not sure what you're expecting from this little pump ??? IMO, this was pretty much an unfair evaluation of the TURBO PUMP. WHO would send their kid to fill a tractor with a 5 gallon can ( I KNOW IT WAS WATER) that they OBVIOUSLY CAN'T LIFT, and SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED to lift, EXTREAMLY DANGEROUS on many levels. For me, it sure beats lifting, and holding, a 5 gallon can of gas. If you want to get rid of yours, I'LL TAKE IT.
