Gunslinger has a "past", he is unlocked via paradox shooting the Lich with the gun that kills the past, but since paradox is weird he actually made the Lich kill his past, and when the gunslinger shoots himself with the gun that kills the past he fights his future not his past

Oh I think I get it. Now these characters who are in the Gungeon are there to correct a mistake in their pasts. Gunslinger has been there to kill Lich but he failed. So when he died, his body remnants got little wierd. When you stay on the poddle thing that you use to unlock Paradox is actually Gunslinger's body remnants. So when you stay on it it crawls in to your body and Gunslinger takes over you. When you kill your past as in that form you kill Gunslinger's past, which he corrects his mistake and kills Lich twice. Because that there is now a Lich in past that Gunslinger failed to kill, and there is second Lich that Paradox brought with it.

Gungine is SUPER OP as gunslinger. You have practically infinite ammo, and probably triple damage as long as you move fast.

And by practically infinite I mean literally infinite because your bullets get refunded when they hit walls, and if you reload over a puddle after that you GAIN ammo rather than just keeping the same amount.

I had the most OP run today. Rainbow run ended up getting TWO CLONES so i went through the gungeon 3 times. Plat bullets, scattershot, back up gun, fat bullets, hungry bullets, Vulcan cannon synergy with the ticket to summon 2 gatling gulls, yari launcher, zilla shotgun, ethereal ring, and 10 hearts. I melted every boss in seconds with a mega scatter, fat, plat bullet yari launcher and vulcan cannon.

Platinum Bullet work for all the bullets you shot in an enemy BEFORE and AFTER you got the item. So get the Platinum Bullet on the last flour give you a monstrous buff!

I think the Gunslinger only gives to highest ranked synergy to guns that change the shots behavior. Other gun combos that just boost damage, speed, ammo capacity and other base effects will apply only if it isn't outclassed by a behavior change. Like the letter R only took the highest rated combo and applied that one instead of all of them (probably to keep Gunslinger from being OP) pretty sure others multi bullet pattern or shot augments will have the same rule.
