The FPV view was very nice. I always format the Micro SD card on my laptop ang the Runcam 2 4k is picky on the SD card. Great flying even with the over run. Enjoyed watching 🍁🍁🍁🍁

Hey Philip, great flight and almost qualified for the Jeff in LA, five landing challenge with the Timber Evolution lol. I found that if you delete the files off the micro SD card with a computer it doesn't actually the files and free up the memory/disk space. I use my GroPro camera to delete the files free up space on the SD card! Not sure what you're doing but that worked for me! Thumbs up!

Thanks Fred . All advice is welcome my friend , you're a wise man and many respect you . I use a MAC ... mostly . And the compatibility issues are enough to drive a saint mad . My windows machines aren't much better . LOL. I think I may have ended up with some Fake .. Branded ...Micro SD cards . They say Class 10 on them but I have doubts they made it threw Kindergarten . 😂 PS Yes Ive have that issue of deleting off the computer and it not working . I always do it on the device and Format there too now .

On the card thing, I normally transfer videos off of the GoPro 8, delete the files, and normally, that does the trick, but my last test ride recorded, but not smoothly. I can grab some short video clips, or images, but the whole video was a bit goofy-ish. This time, I reformatted in the camera (GoPro 8) and I will make a few test videos before taking it back out for a ride. I love that view with the camera, and it has a great image on it too (yours, in this video!). I remember when I first got my drone, I was flying all around trying to get the fighter pilot flight look to it and all, but the gimbal (of course) just makes it all super smooth... fun learning... I believe the Mini 4 Pro I picked up has a function for locking the camera in a fixed position... when the weather cleans up, I'd like to try that out. Oh, on the Kiting... I recall a few times (in a plane) the wind was so strong down the runway, it felt more like a helicopter coming in to land... those are interesting. At altitude, it feels like we are hovering.

Thanks for all the tips and advice Ray . SD card management has a learning curve for sure . Same with video processing . That same card used to work in this onboard cam , but now it doesn't . no settings were changed . This one seems to work good though . I use IMovie to render video , it's usually rock solid but every once in awhile it doesn't like a particular clip . Unfortunately it just stops the render , right near the end , you have no idea why and have to redo the whole video or try to randomly remove edits hoping it works .

Hi Frank , It's A Runcam 2 4K , been out a few yrs now. Yes , it's very easy to use . One button start up and record . It has a good App and Wi Fi too for adjusting the settings . They are tough and meant for RC . Only downside is audio pick up is on the front and not very loud or that great for speaking into . It does NOT enable external mic support , like my other cam you are listening to in this ...and all my videos . These lavalier mics are only $20 or so , but can be very specific to the camera brand you have . One of the issues using expensive Go Pros too . Hi. If you start recording and stop after a few seconds and then start recording again quite often it works the 2nd time.

Thanks . I looks like that card was just bad , this cam and some others do have an auto start record when you first turn it on . I'm not a fan of that feature and usually disable if possible .
