ENGINE BREAK IN!!! Per Lavon Be sure to crank engine over with injector harness unplugged until it has oil pressure to avoid a dry start. Then plug injectors in and start engine. Run at 2k rpm for 5min with no coolant to get heat in it fast while hone is new. Then add coolant and run for 20 min at 2k rpm. Definitely helps to load the engine to help seat the rings properly. DO NOT let idle for more than a few minutes until rings have been seated. Remember it takes cylinder pressure to seat rings properly! All these people doing an “Easy Break-In” don’t realize they’re rings will never seat and even though it will still have compression it will always let combustion past the top ring land. Also wound not recommend starting on the old tune file. 400ish% injectors before vs 100 overs or whatever’s in it now. Don’t rush it at this point. 👍
