lower banjo bolt on oil feed pipe on my 1.6hdi has a super fine filter, after changing turbo, 3 flushes/filters sump off, clean out , oil cooler clean out metalics ect...1000 miles in and turbo playing up again! , no power and play side to side in impeller. The cause was a completely blocked filter again in the lower oil feed pipe/banjo bolt. Heavy carbon sludge in the filter, 2 schools of thought 50/50 saying take the filter out . What do you think? Also a lot of carbon grit in main oil filter also. in hind site i think yes leave it out and perhaps i should have done another engine flush /filter at 500 miles or less. All getting costly. these DV6 engines are known as heavy carbon engines thru design fault . So the fun begins!!

Hey Robin. I have an Opel Zafira Tourer, 2014. I get a signal on my dash that I need to service my vehicle and according to the mechanics it was a turbine problem. I pulled the turbine and saw no traces of oil leaks or overheating or maybe even clogging of the turbine and yet nothing changed. I can also feel some lack of boost when hitting the pedal. What do you think can cause it? Thanks

assuming a foreign object did get into the turbo and broke the turbine before putting on a new turbo am I suppose to go and drain out the current oil and try to find the foreign piece?

i guess it depends, i know for a fact that its a piece of the cat that got into my turbo, so im just going catless with a bigger turbo 🤷‍♂️
