I’ve done everything to my CLS63s except the turbo upgrade. Can’t find a single video of solid drag time numbers with the turbo upgrade. I did 11.09 in the 1/4 with mine. Nice to see you working on it yourself man!! Good job

LOL spinning the turbo by the compressor wheel fin with her finger isn't hurting anything. Those fins see far more load under operation than they'll see lightly spinning them.

@@andreyd.6801 the "63 s" is around 600 - 612hp, but they rate it at 577hp so it doesn't compete with the "higher models". It's about 560 - 580 at the wheels. I'll probably grab a Weistec performance chip, which ads 166hp & 246 torque to the M157. That will put the car around 715 - 735 hp and 777 - 795 torque, which is more than enough for me.

They do more then clean them, they put in a bigger and redesigned compressor wheel for more efficiency with less lag and higher boost capacity

Ohhh shit. Do you know of these turbos are bigger/better than the ones on the 2018 E63S? Because I know if you stage 2 the E63s it makes much more power than a CLS63 due to it running on like double the boost.

Down pipes don't add any power above 550 hp. So they're useless. Castle's doesn't add power either. Full exhasysem will add 25 hp or so. Air intake upgrades only add a few hp and noise.

Good choice on Weistec, I have similar to this pure turbo upgrade plus other stuff. Was able to achieve 0-60 in 3.1s and 1/4 mile in 10.6s. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3a6gI2jat-og9U Pulls lot harder on the roll too. BTW your car is beautiful, nice color combo!

Outch!!! 20k dumped into it including turbo upgrades only to drop 0-60 times by 3/4 of a sec?? Stock new 2020 E63S does 3.2 sec. 2018 M5C does 2.8 sec with 617 hp/556 tq and 4300 lbs.ive seen stock turbo 2014 CLS63S with about 700 hp vs 570 hp stock run a 2.84 sec 0-60 with Toyota triple 8R tires really warmed up. I guess the 5.5 and 7 sod are the weak link in these older models.

@@andreyd.6801 best acceleration is achieved in sport+ trans, tractionin sport and brake boost it to 2500 rpm and let off brake and roll into throttle at same time so rpm doesn't drop like it will in race start. You should be able to run 9's with 850 crank hp in these. I guess mid to upper 10's in the 1/4 is pretty good for these older 63 car's. I guess a 10.7 sec 1/4 is a nice improvement/drop vs stock of about 12 sec at 118 mph
