What do you need to know though? Screw off turbo, potentially put a plate there or machine the manifold, screw back on lmao. I just came here to say that we run 22t hybrids over here which are siccccc if you want that stealthy oem looking install.

so have this same car. thinking about this project as my stock 13c just fried. was looking at the 19t. Kinugawa kit. So list is 19t kit, V70r injectors (IPD?), new exhaust. Air meter spec? anything else?

Not sure what is included in the kit, but the basic recipe is the turbo, modify the downpipe at least or find a conical td04hl housing, injectors, chips. If the injectors are large enough, you would need a corresponding amm. Thanks for watching.

stupid question, but when upgrading from the standard 13c to a bigger turbo, do you need to do any chip/ecu work, to get it running properly? Great video btw! really informative :)

It will run sure but not to it’s full potential, and since bigger turbo needs more air and more fuel it is highly advised to change out the MAF to a 3” and injectors to at least 440cc size - then find a good chip that matches these specifications, and you’ll have a very reliable redblock without too much hassle Also one of the biggest restrictions on the standard B230FK/FT is actually the standard T-cam so I’d change that first and see how it goes. I’ve heard good things about the IPD cams if you’re stateside based Camshaft will not net you much on the numbers side but I promise you, it will feel like night and day if you’re used to the stock redblock and it’s a very cost effective upgrade to start out with

Greetings! We bought it online from a company called kinugawa; fairly generic brand but quality is decent and many others have run it. Wheels are Enkei RPF1s on adapters.

Motorsport-Tech; they will make you any spec adapter for your needs. Decent price and great quality. Ours are 5x108 to 5x114.3, 25mm thickness on +35 17x8/17x9 wheels. Fits well with minor fender rolling.

Much more than a 13c at stock boost level. But we’re running 3x as much boost with the 19t as the stock turbo.

Ended up with a generic eBay 19t clone. Seems to be decent quality, boosts well and feels strong. No issues after a few thousand miles now at 20+ psi.
