I always thought Oliver had something about him, we may see him do a stint in rally 1 car this year. Toyota planning for the future, they now have Oliver and Sami Pajari. Bloody hell that some line up

Its a rally 1 car with rally spec. I hope we dont lose rally 1 cars because there building these machines. Like Thierry said 2027 car would be beaten by these. That would be me not subscribed to rally tv. The fia are going backwards and not even making it a viable opportunity for new manufacturers. As bad as the Citroën got id still love them to be the 4th team.

The car is the Rally2 version, not a Rally1. It has smaller wings and far more simplified bodywork. ----- Regarding the regulation changes which will use Rally2 derived engines, you gotta remember that Rally1's cost has ballooned up to around $1million per car. That's just not a sustainable number for the sport. Having the car slowed down is the way to go to keep the cost down whether you like it or not. WEC did the same when they changed stuff from LMP1 to Hypercar, some people hated it since the cars aren't as fast but they don't see that with the change it brings out lots of manufacturers coming in.
