Turboant X7 Pro & HX X8 Electric Scooter Throttle Disassemble

If you find that your electric scooter throttle has no spring resistance then you may find that you're able to fix it by taking the throttle unit apart and mounting the spring back in its seat. This video shows you how to do this once the throttle assembly has been removed from your scooter.

Hello, I bought and adapted exactly this throttle for my xiaomi. everything works including the buttons. but when you step on the gas you notice a little resistance and friction (scratching noises/grinding) what can I do there? Xiaomi throttle is much more smoother, without any noice... But i hope i can fix the new thottle

That's probably a B, that's an "accelerator fault" on the error code list

Hi - the video on this channel showing you how to disassemble the handle bar stem also covers how to replace the light. If it's stopped working then it may just be a dodgy connection.

If battery charged then it's likely to be controller or display.

Do you mean when you're putting it back together? If so you need to push down against the spring and rotate so that all the slots line up, easier if you use a screwdriver to assist with the turning. Try a dummy run without the spring so that you know how far you need to turn the cover.

I have the DECENT ONE, and the throttle spring has gone on that aswell, but I can't see how to take the throttle completely off without cutting the wires. Any help appreciated please

The spring not working shouldn’t result in an error. It just means the throttle wont return to neutral

Hi there do u have a troubleshooting video? My scooter is displaying an "8", beeps continuously unless i press the throttle down, and when trying to ride, power isn't delivering right through and gives the scooter a "jerky" ride. Any suggestions what could be wrong please? Or a video tutorial on this would be awesome!

Similar to turboant x7 with the battery that you pull out from the inside of the stem. The motor seems fine, its the power not getting to it i think. Maybe the throttle cable is loose? U think?

Hi - if it’s the same as the X7, with the removable battery in the stem and it’s pulled out from the top then a “B” error code means it’s a faulty throttle unit. Hope that helps 😀

You could try but it would be difficult as it's a bit fiddly. It's easy to remove anyway, there is another video covering this.

Hi, thanks for the information, I had this problem and fixed the re-seated the spring ( my model doesn't have the 4 screws in the throttle assembly). However, now the scooter is not responding to the throttle, on/off works and the menu button works, but throttle no response on wheels. Anything else I can check, or now throttle replacement is indicated? Thank you.

Just check everything is seated correctly and the correct way around, if the throttle worked before then it should be ok. If not then a new throttle is easy to fit - we’ve a video on that.
