LEXUS IS350 F SPORT REVIEW: Better than you think? Or does it Stink?

Just picked up mine. Same color with the red interior. Pictures and videos don't do justice on how good this car looks in person. The red interior looks brighter during day light and dark red during night time which is nice. I upgraded from a 2008 4 cylinder camry. The power in this thing is phenomenal you don't need anymore of it.

If you're going to spend $ on a supercharger for this 350 for more HP if that's really your thing, might as well get the IS500.

And it's an aspirated motor which means less moving parts and cheaper to fix, you don't want to add a supercharger or turbo. I would just add Intake and exhaust and move on.

Great review. This was a very refreshing review. A lot of people tend to hate on the interior & speed. You saw the beauty of the inside by comparing it to similarly spec’d cars, and saw the convenience of how everything you need is right there in front of you. This thing looks sharp and the red interior looks super baller despite it being a little dated by today’s standards. I feel like even with those things in mind this is still a solid buy. Also regarding what you mentioned about the supercharger and not having a lot of options to modify I think a proper tune and maybe an intake I already good enough to give it a bit more character and keep the comfort level in check

Yea tune intake and exhaust probably gets you 300ish whp and sounds amazing. That’s perfect for a lot of fun.

Love the engines in these honestly you can get about 100 - 120 with fbo which is extremely cool I’ve beat a couple is350s but amazing engines if done right sounds is remarkable 👌🏼

@@LowBoostFilms yessir atleast with mine it came with 270 pushing 368 rn very restricted when it comes to airflow once it’s opened up the motor pushes some good power for a n/a I have intake / 93 octane tune / y pipe and exhaust 3 inch runs a 14.7 vs the original 17 seconds only downfall is my launch but that’s the way the tacomas gearing is also need a ecu update for the new version of my tune

Every 3.5 L I looked up with FBO made around 300 to 310 at the wheels. They really only make like 250 to 270 to the wheels factory. So if your truck is making 360 it’s probably crank HP my guess. You should throw it on the Dyno and see!

I’m really thinking about trading my 2022 330i for this! Just because of reliability… but the drive in BMWs u can’t top that nothing drives like them.. so I’m little torn. Looks wise Toss up but definitely gives bmw run for its money..

Have you had a lot of issues with your 330? I read most new BMW especially the b48 engine are reliable. Debating to get this or the 2024 BMW 230 With the Msport package.

When I test drove the 2024 BMW 230, i was surprised how quick it was considering it is just the 4 cylinder b48 engine and felt a little faster then IS350. My only concern is the reliability with BMW as you always hear how they start falling off after 30k miles. I never owned a BMW but really considering getting one but still undecided to get the 230 or the IS350.

You can get a 2013 or a 2014 for around 25k. Its the same engine and looks very similar. You will like it.

bought a 2023 lexus f sport yhe exterior was infared fantsstic the interior was acklustrer seats fax leather bad idea controls flimsy plastic over all terrable interior. and dont take your seatbelt off while driving the car will lock the brakes and you will be stuck at the stop light till you figure it out also auto cruse very unrefined feels dsnngerous

I really liked the seats. They fit me perfectly, I know Toyota has a history of removing the driver out of the car but I felt like it wasn’t so bad when I turned all of that off.
