TurboJohn Boosted BBC 532ci / Getting closer

Oh boy, the BBC is getting closer...... We got the rods in, and now have a fully assembled short block ready for some boost..... This bigblock chevy should be a game changer for our program I'm hoping. Cannot think my buddy Jerry enough for the hook up on engine. This thing really should be capable of some good et/mph in the mustang.... Also some updates on Mike's Procharged Challenger. Let's freaking go....

John you may want to epoxy some screens over lifter valley oil drain back slots! I had a problem with the hidden 3/8 head stud in the valley pulling the threads out of the head on one of them. The nut and stud made it to the pan but the machined spacer that comes with the hidden valley head stud kit(there are four of them), got wedged between the valley and a cam lobe when I lifted from a burnout at 6000 rpm and instantly locked up the camshaft, sheared the cam bolts off and bent every valve in both heads! Needless to say they are not repaired yet! Not gonna be a cheap fix!

You're going to LOVE how the Holley controls that nitrous! That thing has some serious cylinder pressure with the pro charger, 100hp will be more like 200hp and you're going to start having problems with 7 and 8 if you go more than 250-300hp jetting through that throttle body plate.

Happy for you John! Hey, does that block use standard .842 BBC lifters? The bore size look kinda small for the power level you will be making. And c’mon John degreeing a cam is not that difficult. And I agree you should sue a belt over the chain. Belts are way more accurate, way easier to adjust cam timing and they don’t generate the harmonics (can mess with your electronics) that a timing chain does.
