Praveen R A lot, your first few hours in the air are tandem. So all the solo jumpers out there have had a lot of air time

Although one or two tandem jumps is recommended, you don't need any to start jumping solo. AFF is the popular training program, and it only consists of 7-8 jumps where you jump with your own parachute, and one to two instructors by your side helping you during free fall. Of course, to be able to jump and move through the air as well as Inka does takes many jumps and/or a bunch of wind tunnel time.

Frank Denninger I think he was just a bit shocked at how close they were. When the recorder was landing his chutes were still fully opened and probably hit the guy's chute too.
