Kay, the natives of Prescott, AZ pronounce the city 'Presskit.' 😊 Love this video! 👍

Honestly on the radio I would pronounce it the same. Everyone knows Tucson is pronounced too-son (thank you Eagles) but only the locals know press-scott is actually presskit haha.

Don't know if anybody else mentioned it but you have probably already heard it that we pronounce it Preskit... I no longer live there but I lived there for a few years.. One of the best aviation education facilities is right by the airport Embry-Riddle aeronautical University. Their main campus is in Florida. While I never followed through and got my private license, I did work on it a few times. And I am a former air traffic controller my last facility was Yuma Arizona and it warms my heart when I hear you compliment air traffic control! And very much enjoy watching your videos and being retired I've been catching up as I'm a fairly new fan of yours.

Well done Kay! Always loved the sound of an engine revving up at takeoff, but the Seneca's double power just sings. Decades ago I flew a lot in AZ, so I empathize with your bumps. You might have found it helpful to have calculated density altitude, especially helpful on go around and when flying the next leg. Good to know, Enroute radar shows you level give or take 300 feet, go over that and the controller will say something. Cheers !

Id bet if you polled us, the overwhelming majority of us would say its your unbridled passion for flying. I myself am a CFI with over 20k hours--and Ive been privileged to fly with younger students with that same passion. Its an amazing thing to be a part of. You have such a great future ahead of you. Very well done. Probably a relief to leave the busy LA airspace, but maybe not so much flying into busy AZ training airspace. Reminds me of Hooks/the West practice area back around here. It can definitely be a cluster. Either way, it's always a pleasure watching someone take flying seriously, and demonstrating that being serious about aviation and having fun aren't mutually exclusive.

Hi Kay, perhaps it was just me, but I found it a bit difficult to hear what you were saying when you were speaking. The background music and ATC-(I know they are important) were just a bit loud and made it difficult to hear you and what you were saying. As I progressed on the video, it sounded better and I was able to hear you. Sorry as the video progressed to 20:35 it got harder to hear what you were saying. I could hear that you were talking, it was the wording that became difficult. Sorry for being a pain....

This is like one of those bangers that first got me into Stevo years ago, but better. There were so many parts where I had to rewind and rewatch, sometimes because I didn't understand, but mostly because it was cool and fun. But also there were situations I had never seen before. Going off radar in the middle of the desert. You don't get that in south Florida lol.
