Am I missing something? You appear to show up in a state and are you have no previous experience with, "rumor has it there are turkey in this area", and just set right up first morning within earshot of turkey? Same thing with the Colorado video! Teach me how to accomplish this magic!

The homework is essential. Often times countless hours on the phones with biologists, timber crews, technicians or anyone local we can contact. Couple that with agency harvest/ population data and a general understanding on what turkey like and where they will be through satellite imagery and it's possible. Not to mention a bit of luck from time to time. A number of podcasts and such out there that elaborates on this process. Appreciate ya watching!

It's a RunCam but I wouldn't recommend it. It's fragile. I'm still looking for a good option for a barrel camera.

Because I know exactly where this hunt was taken place and I know who owns the property he was on and they dont just hand out permission to anyone, especially when it’s an out of stater who “heard there was a rumor birds were in there”

Utah doesn’t have any Merriams in the central part of the state! Boulder (maybe) and San Juan are about the only places in the state where true merriams live. This is a Rio turkey that at some point might have a little Merriam in the lines. An ‘expert’ like him should know that

@@lisawood2031 sorry about the delay in responding to your accusations, also going to apologize about informing you that you're wrong in most of everything you've spouted above, if you were so confident in our location you could refer back to the nwtf map and see that it is in fact closer to the Merriam's shaded area that any other- not that it really matters, we just turkey hunt and our concerns are rarely with the shade of feathers. I'm still wondering why this is such a grave concern of yours? And continuing, the accusation that we are hunting posted property, again, you couldn't be more wrong. We were actually sent to this area on recommendation of a biologist at the regional office. We were well aware of any and all property that was off limits.
