I hope the Turkish government takes this issue seriously. I’m Japanese and I’ve always had love for Turkish culture and it’s people. Never been there but I hope to one day visit 🇹🇷.

You can only love them because they are not your neighbours and far far away. If they were, Japan would be just a tiny state, there would have been at least one genocide against your people and they would claim that your lands are Turkish or that your temples are old Türk monuments. Just ask any neighbouring country how peaceful they are lol

Let's be honest the Turkish government is reactive, not proactive.

How to start preparing. Take three days during the work week and turn off your electric and water. Make do with what you can and write down things you needed and didn't have or tasks that were difficult. After you have this list, research alternatives Eat, wear and consume cheaper. Choose cheaper meals to create room in your grocery budget to put back food. Wear second hand clothes or put a spending freeze on clothes shopping in order to make room to buy what you'll need for the future (especially if you have small children who grow frequently). Consume less electricity, gas, propane by finding alternatives. This may mean using a crock pot, hang drying clothes, using candles at night and opening windows for sunshine during the day etc. With the wiggle room you've created in those bills you now have some money to buy more food storage, medical supplies or invest in a small solar unit. Make an edc bag. This is something you will carry all the time (on your person or in your car) that could provide you with what you and your family need for 3 nights. Think about what you may put into an overnight bag if you were to stay at a hotel. This will ensure even if something happens and you're out you're able to shelter in place Understand how to take care of medical emergencies at home. Remember that in a major event, ems could be down or unavailable for sometime. While this is never the first line of defense in an emergency, understanding how to manage medical emergencies (high infections, deep wounds, pneumonia, asthma attacks, shock, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, poisoning, radiation sickness, torn ligaments, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding) while you wait on help can be life and death. Food, water, temperature control are your highest priorities. If faced with a major event where services are limited for more than 3 days, having stored food as well as a way to cook, a way to filter and store water, and a way to keep yourself cool or warm can be life altering. Please remember as we are entering or for some of us are already in uncertain times, having this foundation gives security as well as lowers stress. It allows us to feel more in control and gain a more positive perspective on not only our lives but the world. I'm willing to answer any questions from my own experience in the comments if you feel overwhelmed!

*I can not understand why Turkey opted for nuclear power!* (built/being built by Russia) A country that is criss-crossed with geologic fault lines is not a very good choice to locate a nuclear power facility. I am pleased that the civil authorities are checking the buildings. If there are various a large areas of really unsuitable building; perhaps those could be torn down and a open spaces (perhaps used as city parks) left open for people to gather if temors/'quake occur (and supplies stored nearby for the people to use). Doing so would improve the quality of life in the city and save lives if a "big one" occurs.

"I am pleased that the civil authorities are checking the buildings". Never mind. The new buildings made in their place will hardly resist the quake. As we saw in Maraş, greedy and corrupt politicians and their cronies will not fully comply with construction regulations. Even when the building is sturdy, it still falls down if not collapses because of the weakly made ground construction. Quake prone places are comprised of weak soil up to 50 meters deep in the ground. No builder will make a 50 meter deep ground work. So it should be banned to build on those lands. Something corrupt, greedy governments, municipalities will never do in a corruption-stricken country like Türkiye.

I just pray that Turkey doesn't get entangled in the islamically prophesized armageddon. I don't know if I can be optimistic or not. Because arabia is a never ending convulsion.
INTELLIGENCE CHANCELLOR: There are giant reasons, why we need to start incrementally Mobilizing. People earning € 4k a month are not going to volunteer. They are preparing as many regions as possible, the Chinese, in order to lower the concentration we can apply in Taiwan and Ukraine. Israel is in dire need of our help.

What a shame that Germany/ Europe and the US didn’t rush to help the Turks the way they did the Ukrainians. Why? Maybe because war is more profitable than helping innocent people caught up in a disaster. Shame on the so called western alliance.
