I’m a big candidate for Apple cider vinegar as well as mushrooms and it’s very cool to know that the medicine initially came from an apple tree. From a curious mind I spoke: I watched a presentation where you speak about natural diversity, and plants and trees growing in balance with their natural neighbours. And here we are, in a closet monoculture. :) I would love to understand what the natural habitat of this mushroom would look like, if you can build and create a forrest garden. This to grow them with nutriants it gets from the natural neighbours. ( as the cycle lets many different plants fall, rot away, and/or are eaten by buggs, and crapped out by the bugg again as nutricious soil. Rain comes, takes the diversity of minerals into the trees, and builds itself on a large diversity of minerals for the mushroom to grow on. Would that not change the mushrooms basic construction? And could it mean you can have different effects of the mushroom if they get different soils? Probably you were you ahead of me, and made sure the pack has all the nutriants it needs :) just curious :)

Dear Paul, I live in central Georgia where it is hot and humid, perhaps perfect for mushrooms to grow in the forest. We have a mini forest and would like to grow these and other mushrooms on our property. The trees we have a wild pecans growing too close together, white and red oak, mulberry, maybe a hickory of some sort I have not identified yet. Can you help us get started growing turkey tail mushrooms, and others? I think this is a great way to use what we have for health. As it is, we will thin out the trees in our mini forest leaving pecans about 30 feet apart, and use the cut wood for wood working or chip it to spread on the forest floor to naturally decompose and enrich the soil for our pecans and mushrooms. Does that sound possible?
