Can we also say benim babam arabam? This is a powerful lesson. I didn’t know the difference between buffer letter Y, N, & S until today. 😮Teşekkür ederim

Great lesson extremely helpful thank you so much you are such a wonderful teacher. I get discouraged sometimes because i don't understand why the words change so much in a sentence and this particular lesson answered most of my questions. I am so greatful for your teaching skills.

Thanks for the lesson. Do you have any tips for understanding turkish sentences better or just constructing sentences because of the SOV order in turkish.

Crystal clear; thank you so much . I have a question, though. In the sentence; his cat is running to the bathroom you didn't add accusative suffix, why? a definite bathroom?
@LearnTurkishvia10 ай бұрын
Bathroom is not the direct object in that sentence, it's the location. I cleaned the bathroom = Ben banyoyu temizledim. (Bathroom direct object) I went to the bathroom = Ben banyoya gittim (Bathroom is the location) One clue, the suffixes "e, de, den" kills the accusative. If there is "e, de, den" then there can not be the accusative suffix.
@fabiolab- Жыл бұрын
can you explane more the “n” buffer?🙏
@LearnTurkishvia Жыл бұрын
In Turkish, we have 4 main suffixes which are -e, -de, -den and accusative suffix. If you use any of these suffixes after a possessive suffix for he/she, then you need to put the buffer letter "n" between them. For example: To her bag = onun çantası + n + a = onun çantasına in her bag = onun çantası + n + da = onun çantasında from her bag = onun çantası + n + dan = onun çantasından

Teşekkürler Hocam. Bir soru var. In this example ''Benim amcam dün onun şapkasını sattı''. Could it be understood that my uncle sold someone else's hat?, due to ''onun şapakasını''. How can I make more clear that he sold his own hat?
@LearnTurkishvia9 ай бұрын
You can say: Amcam kendi şapkasını sattı. My uncle sold his own hat.
