This brother has been helping people with the necessary information to be properly informed about the proper steps to take when making that move abroad. My wife and I have decided as of last year to make that move to Istanbul Turkey 🇹🇷 ❤ in 2025. I am a retired veteran and she is an environmentalist and industrial design specialist. We have properties in California and Indonesia. Thank you for making this process that much easier.

what is your opinion on bank deposit?

Central Bank of Turkey is guarrantee for two years only through YUVAM account. The expected LIRA devaluation risk for third year will be there. Please guide about it

The inflation is much higher than quoted statistic. Also it is likely that these guarantees will ultimately bankrupt the central bank like in lebanon.

That is a true fact and a huge concern. Add the spectre of conflict in the region and the incertitude of where the country will stand with regards to the Western self-destructing policies then it transform the investment into a roulette gamble.

Anybody who is willing to part with $500K USD and turn it into Lira is likely already rich and $500K is just play money, and if you are already that rich, there are better programs for the money involved.
@dlukton9 ай бұрын
@chinaberg yes, "better programs"; BUT, if you've already got a Caribbean passport... and you want ANOTHER citizenship (by investment), I would argue that for a person in THAT category, Turkish CBI could be a good option.

Very tempting offer. Low hassle, decent return. I just don't trust everything to work out as advertised. Property still seems like a better option to me.

Hi, I learned the YUVAM account can be opened for only 2 years max before you have to re-apply..while your initial deposit has to be locked for 3 years in Turkish Liras. Given how fast laws can change, isn’t there a risk the government cancels the YUVAM account so the exchange rate guarantee won’t be available to you during the last third year… and we all know the lira can depreciate by more than 50% if government decides to slash interest rates to negative real interest rate

a question ... are you able to convert that deposit into property purchase in Turkey within that 3 years period? or do you need to forget about the money for the entire duration?
@TheWanderingInvestorАй бұрын
@@Usama-ts5mf it must stay in the Turkish financial system

Why you are not mentioning that what you call the guarantee is only for two years in the third year is at the investor risk. ?

Why you are not mentioning that what you call the guarantee is only for two years in the third year is at the investor risk. ? Second point it takes from six months to maybe one year and a half to obtain the citizenship

I would advise Turkeya Central Bank to protect the principal amount and pay the interest rate gain with Turkish Lira.

What happens if the bank goes bankrupt? Does the Central Bank still guarantee the money?
