Great video, thank you. One question though: Why do we say "ablamların" instead of "ablamın" to say "my sister's"? There's only one sister and only one car right? Also, in the video you said: Ayşe ile Veli bu akşam bizim eve geliyor Is it correct without the possessive marker on "eve"? Shouldn't it be rather: Ayşe ile Veli bu akşam bizim evimize geliyor

Here, the plural suffix attached to the noun 'ablam' makes it a family name. 'Ablamlar' here means 'My sister's = Her family'. For the second sentence, in spoken Turkish we can also say 'bizim eve' instead of 'bizim evimize'. But in written Turkish it will be better as 'bizim evimize', like you said.

Thank you so much for the lesson. I didn't understood very well the example of de/da conjunction. Both sentences "Ahmet de hamburger yemek istiyor" and "Ahmet hamburger de yemek istiyor" mean the same thing, so I don't really understand how the meaning changes depending on where the "de/da" is located. If you could give another example I would really appreciate it. Çok teşekkürler!!

It is only for stressing a certain part of the sentence. "Ahmet te" means "Ahmet too". "Hamburger de yemek istiyor" means "wants to eat hamburger too"

Hocam "hem and "hem de " both are so confusing . But still i tried to make some sentences . Can you check please 1) ablam hem televizyon izliyor hem de yemeği yiyor . 2) hem ağabeyim markede gitmek istiyor hem de ayakkabıları giymiyor 3) öğretmenimiz hem burada gelecek hem de senin evinde gelecek

1. This pretty much correct. However, we need to make a small correction in "yemeği". When you add 'i' to yemek(food), it is an accusative objective ending. If you want to say 'eating food' then it should be just 'yemek' , no definite ending, but If you want to say "eating the food' then yemeği is correct, but in this context we should not use 'i' ending because it is not definitive. So ," ... Yemek yiyor.". İf you meant "her food" then it should be "...yemeğini yiyor"

2. Since "ağabeyim' is the common subject, it should come before hem. Markede---}Markete Ayakkabıları---} ayakkabılarını Ağabeyim hem markete gitmek istiyor hem de ayakkabılarını giymiyor

'Ben partiye gelEmedim, çünkü uyuyordum'. For 'unfortunately' you can say 'Ne yazık ki' Ex:. Ne yazık ki geciktim
