Many neighbourhoods are closed in Antalya Turkey/ Türkiye for the Turkish residence permit (Ikamet).

Thanks for the very informative videos. I am wondering if you would be able suggest what I should do in situation. I am an American and have been living in Turkey with a tourist ikamet since 2019 in Bursa. I was given renewals for two or one year each time since. Now, the officer is only offering 3 months. It seems he was doing the same to everyone when I was there. Is there something I can do to have the ikamet for at least one year? This will benefit me in a number of ways: I do not have to be in Turkey at a certain time to renew again. I am looking to buy property but lack of certainly around ikamet renewals does not give me confidence about the longterm. I currently rent. I do have significant cash assets both Turkey and the US.

Thanks for the update of Trc brother 😊Unfortunately the real estate agent through whom I bought an apartment in Kepez informed me that Trc is stopped. But from your video, I feel that it’s worthwhile to apply. Can you please let me know if I should proceed on Trc application in view that I own a house?

It was purchased in July 2022 and as I know there is no value for trc. Whereas for resident permit, it’s a minimum of 75,000 USD.

As I know, the TRC (Turkish residence card) is the same as the residence permit, and it gives you the right to stay in the country for a longer period more than your entry visa for a maximum of 2 years and renewable. So, if you purchased your house less than USD 75000 after May 2022, you cannot apply. But, if I am not mistaken, I heard that something can be done by adjusting the tax payment as if it USD 75,000 and pay the difference, but I am not quite sure about it. Better to ask a lawyer.

Hi, sorry I don't know any driver. But, if you feel comfortable driving and you have an international driving license, then it is enjoyable as roads and traffic signs are good and GPS will do the needful. I usually rent from Enterprise. I know only about the Lycian way and they say it is nice but haven't been to. Enjoy your trip!

Hello Bilal, internet is a buzz with news that as of late 2023, no touristic TRC is being issued based on rental agreement. Instead you have to purchase a property of $200k or more in order to apply. Are you saying that as of November 2023, a rental agreement is yet again sufficient to obtain a touristic TRC? Thank you for your channel and the info you present.

Hi, you are welcome! I have already checked with the immigration and they confirmed it is still the same process for the tourism purpose and applications are accepted. Whether they approve or not, it is their decision as usual. The USD 200k is for real estate residence permits.

Hi, you are welcome! Same documents as a new application. Rental contract will be same as last year if you are still living at the same place and the contract is stamped by a public notary. As for the tourist plan, I dont think you need it. Better to check by calling 157.

Hi, if you registered your residence address, which is a must do thing, then you can print it from the Edevlet application and put it in your renewal application. Also, if the rental contract is notarized by you and the apt owner, this is enough I think. For more info, it is better you contact 157 or go ask at the Goç.

Hi, if you have registered your address at Nufus, then search the word "adres" in edevlet then click "Yerleşim Yeri (İkametgah) ve Diğer Adres Belgesi Sorgulama NUFUS VE" then you can print it.

Hi, you have to apply for toruistic residence visa ( ikamet), but you should have a rental contract and provide some documnets and insurance for this purpose.

Back in the day they used to issue using hotel, airbnb or apartment lease but now they dont. Is this true? Yes it's true. You can still get a residency permit through a rental agreement depending on your country. Russians are all getting rejected not sure about other countries. If you receive a pension you will have priority

Medical insurance for residency is a bit of a scam sadly, that came from the agent from a reputable top company who sells them , you need it but its worthless they wont pay out if you have any issues!!! if coming to Turkeiye have a great medical insurance from your own country and then get the one req for residence on top

Hi, I agree with you. Also, you can opt for private medical insurance in Türkiye without doing the foriegner one.
