Arteta is probably the only manager I can think of who has been allowed to learn his trade at a big (ish) club lol. Just seems like he’s making it up as he goes along which is fine when you’re at a lesser club. But personally I can’t wait any longer for a prem and it’s clear he’s not the guy to take us to the promise land. Regardless of what happens at the end of the season I think he should go. Look at how Liverpool changed with a new manager. And before anyone says who’s better than Arteta, was anyone saying Slott was better than Klopp? Arteta may as well kept Nelson then bring in Sterling. Saka being injured was always going to happen at some point we all know it and Arteta has never ever provided quality cover or like for like. Competing at the top level is about having a complete squad, not just a very good first 11. Arteta has been given the money, but he has wasted it on too many duds. Now he has a 'get out of Jail card' if Arsenal no longer compete. He'll say "well we have lost out most productive players for goals and assists" etc. Not good enough. Having a player to compete with Saka with not only elevates his performances but also allow him to rest if there was a proper rotation option.
