Thanks for sharing such informative videos. I particularly like it when you show your maps and planned routes. So many sailing channels miss this important detail.

+Sealight Adventures Glad you like that part - we will keep it up! Route and weather planning are essential, particularly while we feel so new to all of this!

The can may be moldy, I bet the beer is OK ;-) Happy you made it to the DR, thanks for sharing and fair winds.

I just immediately wondered with how many you guys had swum! I bet they love y'all, too.

+marie sullivan only once or twice have we actually been in the water swimming with them - but when you see an entire pod of them come dashing to your bow to play, it's hard to resist!

@@SailingLunaSea great video, nice weather window, was it ever an option to try and east for a few days out of TCI and then turn south on a beam to PR or even Samana to bypass the temperamental northern DR coast?
@SailingLunaSea4 жыл бұрын
That probably could have been an option, but we wanted to check out the DR. Thanks for watching!

I'm curious, how has cruising been with your dog? Are you finding it difficult to check into any countries? We did the Bahamas last season with our dog but are hesitant to take him farther into the Western Caribbean due to possible issues.

+Ed Chamberlain Luperon was so easy. Just bring your international vet form and pay your $10. No problemo. We will see what happens as we continue. She is almost 13 and a very chill dog. So it's mostly easy. But when she eventually "Goes away to college" we will take a break from pets for a while. It really does make some adventures more of a challenge. She is too old to keep up for long - but when she does get to go places with us, she has a blast and it's so worth the extra steps.
