All these possibilities in Ableton are overwhelming

Life is overwhelming, don't let it stop you, generally if you have a good idea that's good enough. Don't need to worry about all the other things you still don't know

Even more so in Bitwig.

Thank you so much for your videos. I just purchased my first midi controller and started to make music a week ago as a hobby, so I am a total beginner. From all tutorial videos I’ve watched so far, yours are the ones I am able to understand the best and apply directly to my own experimentation the most. Thank you very much and keep up the good work!!!

I recently found you Jaron and i have to say your information is absolutely invaluable to those who understand where you're musical inspirations are coming from, but did not know how to execute on a production level, such as my self. i plan to digest as much as i can from your channel and try to apply and grow and perhaps possible graduate to taking a lesson with you once i got all your freebies down!

Lovely Jason, i prefer using a modified m4l shaper who respond to trigger or an env follower to do it so i can have the visuals and basically more control on the env with the mseg in shaper. also i use a velocity m4l devices to basically control the range of the shaper or actually any other parameter of the shaper. Amazing for sound design

Great tutorial. Will definitely try this method out to advance my loops. Do you have a break down of this song? Love the drum groove it has
@jaronlopez Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Give it a try, I haven't done a breakdown of this tune yet, but if you looking for more detail on the drums, check out my tutorial on Fred again's Delilah, this tune uses similar drums and groove.

Nice video. Anyone ever tried sidechaining the autofilter to itself? (I.e., side chain source is the same sound/channel that the autofilter device is on) Actually now that I think about it I guess that's basically the same thing as the filter settings inside the synths, but sometimes I like the sound of autofilter better edit: nm...now that i think about it yet again, sidechaining to it's own channel doesn't do anything - it's already 'sidechained' because it by default it reacts to the audio in the channel it's on. BUT if you want it to react to a diff channel's audio, while affecting its own channel, that's when you use the sidechain
