I had the same problem! I have done it other way…. Go to settings>>all settings>>accessibility>>audio guidance and you have only to put off. That’s it 😊

The button with three dots does not turn audio description on / off on my LG TV. there is a button marked AD on the remote which controls this

Resolved in the end , found out the audio description was activated on the sky settings not the LG , sorted .

If you have the audio is Spanish. When it's the Thanksgiving parade it will play audio description of the parade. Last year I didnt k ow how to fix it.

To anyone that tried this but it doesn't work, hold the mute sound button for 5 seconds which will then send you to audio guidance menu. You can permanently switch it off there!

Thanks. But I don't have that button. Tried everything. Option in the settings is greyed out. I've tried everything. Edit: sorted it out about 15 mins later. We have a sound bar and I had to disable that first in order to be able to turn it off in the menu. No idea how the kids managed to turn it on.
