I turn 18 in less than 30 minutes, I am so lost and broken I don’t know what I’m gonna do with my life in the future but this song holds such a significance to me and dating back to my childhood. I love this song with all my heart. Update: It’s been a year since I posted this comment, I’m 19! My life has been so good and I am so much happier now

Holy shit that is insane. Happy birthday my guy, good job making it this far. It will be alright, ok. Don’t panic (no pun intended) hey, I know I’m just some weirdo off the internet but listen, you’ll find what you want to do. It may take some time and a whole lot of searching. But you will find it. Maybe it will be the moment you give up on searching that it will come to you, and that’s ok. Be prepared for a fuck ton of curveballs and twists and turns. I hope you a great life. Sincerely, some rando off the internet.

I got so sick of being on my own Now the devil wont leave me alone It's almost like I found a friend Who's in it for the bitter end Our conscious's are always so much heavier than our egos I set my expectations high So nothing ever comes out right So shoot a star on the boulevard tonight I think I'll figure it out with a little more time But who needs time Turn off the lights, turn off the lights Turn on the charm for me tonight I've got my heavy heart to hold me down Once it falls apart, my heads in the clouds So taking every chance I got Like the man I know I'm not So sick of wasting all my time How in gods name did, I survive I need a little sympathy To sore my insecurities Our conscious's are always so much heavier than our egos I set my expectations high So nothing ever comes out right So shoot a star on the boulevard tonight I think I'll figure it out with a little more time But who needs time Turn off the lights, turn off the lights Turn on the charm for me tonight I've got my heavy heart to hold me down Once it falls apart, my heads in the clouds So taking every chance I got Like the man I know I'm not Oh, oh, oh A heavy heart on the boulevard tonight, oh Shooting stars watch me fall apart tonight, woah Turn off the lights, turn off the lights Turn on the charm for me tonight I've got my heavy heart to hold me down Once it falls apart my heads in the clouds So taking every chance I got Like the man I know I'm not Oh woah, oh woah, oh woah Oh woah, oh woah, oh woah

oh my god if u saw my comment on the oh glory video saying that it was my favorite song of all time between ages 11-16. well I lied. it was this one totally. this song reminds me that it's okay to grow up and that it's inevitable and even though this song reminds me of being a kid that that child will always be with me and she'll always be rooting for me!! honestly such a shame what became of this band. this album was always my favorite. Brendon needs to sort out his shit and just man up and apologize for his past behavior-- and while I am happy the band is finally being put to rest, I want some closure from certain people about certain things (hi Ryan ross that means you) and I want to know that things are ok w him and the other people who Brendon kind of wronged in the past 20-odd years. ok rant over. love this song. Sorry but technically the last time P!ATD music was actually released was 2009. Unless you count Nearly Witches (which I do). Everything since has been Brendan Urie releasing music under the P!ATD name & I'm sure Brendan will continue releasing music, he's just finally doing the right thing & retiring the band name like he should have done in 2010/2011 when FOUNDING members said they didn't appreciate him using the name & keeping it a secret.

The name belonged to everybody and he AND Spencer decided to keep it and Spencer was a founding member (Brendon was too actually he wasn't there during high school times but he was a member when the band got signed). There are contracts about that and if they choose to keep it it means they signed for it or they bought it.
