it will work from Anywhere. I assume your router at home is connected to the internet.

@@robojax of course the router Is connected to internet but when you are out from Your wifi network and u are connected on mobile network,how to connect to your plug? You need to do some configuration on your router (con,Nat or similar) to reach your home network from outside

No you don't do anything. The app is taking care of that and it should work. Check the app and it has all the options.
