Turn on DLG mode on TCL Google TV

The TCL newly launched Google TV C635 supports the DLG function. It will increase the refresh rate of the TV up to 120 Hz when playing the console game.
Note, only the 55'', 65'', and 75'' support the DLG function.

I have the C645 and you can do 4k60/1440p120/1080p120 at 8 bits - for 10 bits only 1080p120 supports Full RGB 10 bit, 4k60 and 1440p120 support 10 bit YUV422. If you are playing in windows and HDR just leave it at 8bit, windows does a good job with 8bit + dithering. If you are using a PS5 then just don't worry it automatically goes into YUV 422 which is not very different from Full RGB 10 bit

Hi, I'm having a very specific issue when I play video games using my Smart TV TCL C635 at 2560x1440 120Hz in my PC with a RTX 3060 TI. When the camera is in motion, some parts of the image turn black and white, but return to normal when the camera stops. I'm using an HDMI cable version 1.4 , and the cable is 5 meters long. I've already tried switching to a 2.0 HDMI cable that's only 2 meters long, but the problem persisted. I've also updated my graphics card drivers, checked my display settings, and tried different games to see if the issue persists. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Game master and 120hz dlg is turned on and yet my TV goes black when it tests 1440p 120hz in PS5 video output test. Whats the issue? PS5 resolution is set auto, 120hz set auto, hdr auto etc. still not able to trigger 120bz. In Spider-Man when DLG vrr both are on and I select 120hz auto option in game screen again goes black.

SO 4K 120HZ TV IS FALSE ADVERTISING. I was asking in a department store and looking for a 55-inch 4K TV with 120Hz display, I literally clearly stated that I'm looking for a 4K TV with a 120Hz display. They pointed me to a TCL 55C647 TV based on my budget. They said it is 120hz when you turned on game mode, and it can be activated only when connected to a console. I tried to do a quick search of its specification since I doubted the 120hz when gaming only, then I saw on a TCL page that it is 120HZ DLG. I didn't dig deeper that time since I trusted already what I saw. I bought it. Haven't tested on my PS5 yet since I'm still waiting for the games to came. Then, just now, I remembered the 120Hz DLG thing. Upon searching, also the reason I bumped into this video, I learned that you'll get 120Hz only on a console AND lowering the resolution... Is there a law regarding this? I felt I was scammed at the store. Who wants to play a 1080p on a 55-inch display? That's so stupid.

If the TV is connected to a PC, the Game Master mode of the TV can't be turned on, and the FPS display function can't be turned on. By the way, the resolution will be reduced after turning on DLG mode. After turning on Game Master mode on the TV, the picture quality of the TV will be changed as well, so the Game Master mode can't be turned on without connecting the game console.

Are you sure to have plug ur hdmi cable on 120hz output on the TV? If you look on a TV you should see 2 port 4k 120hz, one hdmi and one hdmi e arc u have to plug on one of 4k 120hz output for work! Also are you sure the game you are running have 120hz mode ?

I also want to see my FPS but this is constancy and I know I don't have a constancy refresh rate on the One!.Let's take Farcry 3 as a frame limit of 30 but it always shows me 60 because the Xbox runs at 60Hz. Or with Modern Warfare II, Here you can see that the FPS are not constant because the Consoles to old for Full 60FPS. I cannot seem to move the toggle to "on" for Game Master. But I can switch "on" VRR and 'Auto Low Latency' in Setting -> Channels & Inputs and they will affect those corresponding toggles under Game Master eventhough that GM toggle remains deactivated. Not sure if it affects a game being played that way, but I still can only reach 120 Hz Refresh Rate and not the claimed 144 VRR.

Hello, can you please help me? I just bought 85C735 and I just can't get 120Hz from it. Every video anywhere is 60Hz - even the 120 fps videos allows me only 60 fps.... Same in games. Hi, friend. The model 85C735 doesn't support the DLG feature. If the video is 120Hz, the TV will play it at 120Hz. If the TV doesn't support 120Hz, the TV won't play 120Hz video successfully. If you want to play the game at 120Hz, please make sure the game support 120Hz, and also turn on the VRR on the TV. If you still can't play the game at 120Hz, please kindly contact the local customer service for further help.

If you want to have a 120Hz experience with PS5, please set up the HDR 120Hz output on the PS5, and then connect the PS5 to the HDMI 1/2 port on the TV with the HDMI 2.1 cable. Usually, the HDMI 1/2 port is the 120Hz port. When you play 120Hz supported games on the PS5, the TV will show the fps as 120.

I have C645 and it supports DLG with a PC but only on Game Picture mode - you will find a 2560x1440 120hz resolution available on the PC resolutions on nvidia control panel PC picture mode = no DLG only 60hz but there is a 2560x1440 upscaled to 4K that has better clarity and brightness than DLG 120hz mode but only 60Hz Game picture mode = Motion submenu DLG option enables 2560x1440 120hz resolution - less clarity and I have noticed less brightness than in PC picture mode above but it is smoother so just pick your preference.
