I have tried to run it's live version from my laptop but i have faced a problem... During the initial setup process when it asks for signing with google id, i have entered the id and password but it doesn't go beyond and goes back to the seup process, i have tried several times but it didn't worked...

I faced the same problem the fix is easy reboot the boot from android tv debuge mode and type exit and press enter it will boot without setup then reboot one more time without repeating any thing and voila

@@soegaraedy No bro, when installation is done, it asks you to reboot or to run ATV, u just plug out usb and reboot your pc and set hdd as 1 boot device priority. No need in usb anymore

While I can't help you, it sounds to me like you have a Xiaomi TV that was made for the Mainland China market, and may have been duped by the seller you purchased it from. The closest I've seen online seems to involve using Android debugging to force a language change and sideload Google TV system APKs, but some parts of MIUI TV still remain. Models made for Mainland China also ship with a DTMB tuner instead of a DVB or ISDB tuner. If you have a Xiaomi TV that was made for countries other than China, there's an option in the settings to switch from PatchWall to Google TV.
