In that website, make sure you do the frameskipping test. I was able to overclock it quite high, and then I tested for frame skipping and it did show the skipping.

If you increased refresh rate and you have screen problems like flickering or black screen then get a hdmi cable connect it to your television or monitor and then revert your pc refresh rate back. I hope this help you all a lot :)

dude you earned my like! its better to use 120hz instead of 144hz if your notebook can hold above 120 fps, but not 144 fps :D 1600x1080 120hz (lower res for more frames = makes it stable for not dropping)

Be careful overclocking the screen it may cause a bit of change in the colors for example my Nitro 5 reach until 70 hz without changing the color, i could reach 90Hz without crashing but the colors changed a lot and the image turns a bit greysh

You should just be able to do that in the advanced graphics settings in Windows. The screen has different profiles so you could easily say go down to 60Hz or use the CRU program for something in between.

I can run 4K@30Hz but not any higher. I think maybe I just need a new system to support higher refresh rate in 4K. The laptop does 1080p@60Hz but no higher. I am going to try the program you showed, thank you 🙏
