Thanks for the video, Jeff. Some beautiful stamps. The red Desert Pea flower, as well as the Desert Rose, are both beautiful flowers and stamps. The Wilding photograph of QE II just is a classic and lovely image of her. It was interesting that you were in a library and it was so lively. I always think of libraries as very silent. 🙂 Enjoy your day!

Such wonderful stamps! I love the postage revenue stamps with Queen Elizabeth II as well as the Queensland stamp. I don't think I have any Queensland stamps in my collection but after watching your videos I may have to go in search of some. Thanks so much for sharing.

I remember those Flower strip Stamps coming out of a machine in the 70s.

Thanks, Jeff. Another lovely collection of stamps! I particularly liked the red and green postage due stamps (lovely Christmassy colour scheme) and the rose. I always like stained glass window stamps too, but I always wonder which are based on real windows and which ones were drawn for the stamp! PS enjoyed the coffee-shop vibe. :)

Hi Happy Bunny - Yes I like the colours of the postage due stamps as well and also those GB Christmas stamps !! It is interesting what you say about the depiction of the stained glass windows on the stamps - are they from real windows or drawn for the stamp?? Thanks so much for watching :)

I've just looked it up in the Stanley Gibbons catalogue and those stamps are based on windows in Canterbury Cathedral, UK. I think the religious scenes tend to be from actual windows, but sometimes you see animals or modern scenes in a stained glass effect and I think they're usually artist drawn. :)@@jeffsstamps

No problem! I have a very old print copy of Stanley Gibbons Concise Great Britain, but I think the catalogue is online only these days - it means it's really up to date though. There's QV, GR and QEII SG catalogues as well if you're really keen on a particular era. :)@@jeffsstamps
