If you need anymore ideas for stuff to make with sprues, here's a few! A guillotine, an iron maiden, a torture rack, a spit to roast your enemies on, a creepy scarecrow, an Iron Throne style cell phone dock, a tomb/mausoleum, a windmill, a pirate ship, a self-portrait, a phonecase, a lightswitch cover?, a support for a small camera, a skeleton, an outhouse/ toilet, a mechadragon, and a food stand (orc cuisine of course). Hope this helps, love your nibbly-nobbly work!

Put a conical roof on top of that paintbrush holder, and then set that on top of a sprue framework, and you've got a crude, rural water-tower. Or, with a shorter framework underneath, and a doorway, you've got an Orc or Goblin house... build a few, and you've got a jungle village. "Welcome to Nibbly-nobblyville!" A water-tower with a ladder and a door in the side is turns into an orc guard-tower.... A bit shorter, and that paintbrush holder looks a bit like the gun turret for an old-fashioned Victorian-era Ironclad warship, e.g. the USS Monitor. All you need next is an iron-clad hull using a sprue framework covered in ooey-gooey-spruey sheets and rivets, and a couple orc cannon for the turret... just add some greeblies for interest, such as some masts, smoke-stacks, railings/fences, rudders, anchors, and the like (I imagine an anchor can be cut pretty easily from sprues and/or ooey-gooey-spruey sheets....) Those old Ironclad Monitors always looked more Steampunk than many fantasy Steampunk vehicles, and crudely built from sprues, would fit right in, I think, with the Orc aesthetic! The bottom of your paintbrush holder - the row of sprues glued together and cut into a disc - look like they're just a short step away from being a really big wheel for an Orc war machine - brace it cross-wise with some more sprues, medieval wagon-wheel style, with holes drilled in the middle for axles. What can you do with a bunch of really big Orc War Machine wheels? Build a chassis frame from sprues, cover in ooey-gooey-spruey sheet armor plates and rivets, then mount a short cylindrical paintbrush-holder Orc/Goblin hut with conical roof on top of that, and you've got a rolling war machine that looks like it might have been invented by an Orc Leonardo Da Vinci. Alternatively, mount your Orc Ironclad on wheels, for an Orc amphibious assault vehicle...

My folks want my hobbies to inculde their hobbies, which always change, but since they are on the simplest 2, I thought I would ask you for inspiration. Hobby 1) Gardening, always needing that one tool that does the same as another, only 20 times better and flower pots. Hobby 2) Model Rockets that detach gliders... Yeah, it might be easier to tackle one side of that hobby with sprues than the other, but now you have more to how to.

that brush holder could work as a large sewer run off too. also using that design to make smaller versions to use with silos or forts. I can imagine something like that with the grates cut down and some gretchin sneaking in.

Love it. One piece of advice tho. Might want to add a cm or 2(½inch-just under 1 inch), to form a cpl of legs that points backwards on either side. perhaps one each corner if thats somehow better. Thing is, fewer takes up less space on the table, none at all even more so, and its nice nothing points in all directions. They might get caught in something when the rack is moved around and its not as easy to shove it up against a wall or w/e. But its to prevent the rack from tipping over.. at least i would need that. My experience tells me that theres a tendency with a somewhat high frequenze to have fewer bottles of paint on the 2 lower rows, whereas the 3rd and highest row almost always is full. And thats not good if the design rely solely on gravity, fulcrums, pivotpoint, lever-principles and the like to stand on its own. The rack will frequently become topheavy and a tap from a wing of the plane or w/e one is painting might be enough to topple it. Ive seen fullsized displays of similar construction go down when someone bumped it with with a long shaft on a paintroll, force of impact comparable to that of a good slap. Its good entertainment to watch 8-10 x 12 ltrs of paint flush the floor, but its not very productive.. its better to prevent than to cure and clean. imho. Thx a biggie for the vid. One thing I would like to see, and it might be an idea for an episode or even a series. Anyways, here goes; a modular 40k or WHFantasy tabletop landscape/battleground. Must be(mostly) made from scrap and sprues (conversions allowed) and everything must fit into the(at any given time) largest "terrainpiece" when stored. Sorta like a babuschka-doll(spellcheck). The players must be able to simply grab the largest gameprop, flip it over and then start to stack the rest inside. Pieces should be designed so they lock in place when stacked, use of strategic pads allowed. - but it must be done in a way that prevent the paint from being rubbed or scratched off, reilings and cannons shouldnt break off etc. It doesnt have to contain everything one need for a game, "only" the terrain, and not neccesarily all of it. The more the better, bonuspoints for also being able to store a 1000-1200 point army. Extra bonus for higher numbers. Needles to say that IF an army is integrated then it must be secured in foam cells or similar. it must be good enough for your Golden Demon army. As a standalone idea, and mebbi a kliche. But id love to see an orch heavymetal or punkrock band. cant stop thinking about Stormtroopers Of Death, S.O.D when i see orchs. Thats some loud music,. probably right down the alley of orchs
