I'm so glad you like these too! That original scrubby is pretty hard to top, especially for heavy duty scrubbing. I actually started stitching two of these together after making this video, and that makes it even thicker and sturdier. You may give that a try!

@@maryannnichols1043 basically instead of pulling from just one yarn ball/skein, you would pull from two at the same time. You will need to use a bigger hook. I used a 7.0mm hook for the one I made today. It worked pretty well. If you are combining that scrubby yarn with a regular cotton, it will take a little getting used to but it looks neat. I used pink cotton and white scrubby. You can also combine regular yarns together for whatever you are wanting to make. For instance, three yarn strands will be thick enough together to be like a bulky yarn weight. That kind of thing. Just something to keep in mind for future projects. Good luck to you! ✌🏻💟😁🧶🇺🇸

Instead of gatekeeping like some do with other hobbies online, I found the majority of crocheters very patient and willing to help when I was brand new and couldn't read a pattern or do more than two stitches. It adds to the overall good feeling I get from crocheting that will probably make me do this until my hands don't work anymore - and then I'll just have to figure out how to work a hook with my toes!😅 Kudos to you, and to everyone that chooses to add joy to another person's existence.

Hi Brittany. Interesting pattern. I must give it a try. I have a pattern that I’ve been making for years and everyone loves them. I am always asked to make them. I use the scrubby sparkle yarns and they are the best for tough stained pans. I think I’ll try this pattern in a different yarn for a nice face scrubbie. Thanks for another great tutorial!💞
