I started out oil painting before moving to acrylics. We were taught never to use only black but to add Persian blue, viridian or crimson red to develop and add depth to the black. This is a very good experiment

As always, you knocked it out of the park, Froyle. This whole series is wonderful. Regarding your fabulous "secret" circle: for me, it's the spot on proportions of the outer ring to the inner ring. Your circle creations make my heart sing! Try as I might, and I've tried several times, I have not been able to reproduce your circle proportions. If possible, would you please post the diameter dimensions of both the outer circle and in the inner circle? Then I can make me a cardboard stencil so I can be consistent with your gloriously, perfectly balanced bagel-shaped circle. I love it! Thanks.

Yes, my secret circle makers are the best!! They are 6 cm or 2.5" across, the inner circle is 2cm, I hope that helps! Cheers Froyle

Another fabulous mixture of soothing relaxation and motivation. Love those colours: I like to die fabrics with various kinds of indigo. Could maybe also use them for paper. Fabulous yet again! How is this possible? 🤪 Prussian Blue was my all time favourite blue closely followed by Indigo then along came the pthalo blue/green but I would go as far as saying these are my only likes in the blue realm. You've shown how to combine all hues in the most interesting and spectacular way and I'd really like to thank you for opening my eyes in this respect. I've always been a fan of mono abstract photography and now with your help, I think I'm ready to try this in my art. Thank you dear Froyle ❤️

Like all your other videos, this is fantastic. Regarding your circle disk: it’s the proportions of the outer edge to the inner circle cutout that makes it sing. And sing it does! I would love to know the diameter dimensions of both circles because I have not been able to duplicate yours yet. Yours is perfectly balanced to my eye/for my heart. I love that circle!

Froyle could you talk about how you manage your brushes with all the matte medium you use. Do you have a jar of water you keep them in, or just get new ones regularly? I've tried wiping off the extra before washing in the sink, but they still get stiff soon enough.

I use Liquitex Basics matte medium 👍🏼 you can use any glue or even a glue stick, but I like to brush it on 😄

Hi Zyriab...I'm from NZ too. It's quite common for our citizens to have a genuine jokey, laughing tone in an informal talk. More so in Maori & Polynesian communities. Of course there are gruff non chatty speakers as well. I always play these vids at 2x max speed & Froyle sounds like a laughing chipmunk. It brings me joy & shortens the time.
