Thank you for this beautiful rendition, Rosemary. I had been playing some of your music to my mum over the past couple of weeks as she was dying in hospital. I knew this song was special to her, as she had sung it to her father years ago as he was dying. Last Tuesday as my dad and brothers were sitting with her, they realised her breathing had changed so they called me back to the hospital, as I had gone home to cook dinner for my family. Her breathing had been so laboured all day, and I had told the 'boys' to call me back if I was needed. Mum had not wanted to die all alone. By the time I got there, just before 8pm, she was much quieter, and looked comfortable and peaceful. We sat a few minutes before I fished out my phone and found this song for her, one more time. As your singing started she visibly relaxed, and by the end of the song she had gone, sung into glory as she turned her eyes upon Jesus and looked full on His glorious face. I knew I could not sing it to her myself without crying, so it was so precious to have found this video and to have you sing in my place. Thank you. Arohanui, in memory of Irena Joy Murray
