Its amazing to see how speedy your workflow is... & of course your talent in cascading everything perfectly... Nice showcasing of the use of the BCF 2000 midi controller too... This exhibits how important the automation is.... If possible pls do a video on how you manage to set up all those libraries - I presume through via VSL Ensemble Pro.... Many thanks - Highly Inspired ! Cheers ! :)

I really like the editing in your speaking. You get to the point without excess talking which loses the point. Just like composing music, the listener needs the point up front. It's clear and articulate what you've said here. Thank you.

Hello, I am a composer of melodys and origianal songs. I play classic guitar, electric guitar and harmonica. Thank you very much for your videos, I am discovering Cubase. I would like to orchestrate some of my creations. I would like to know : how can I replace the sound of an instrument by an other one, keeping in the same time the sound effect ('allegro', 'stacato', ...) ?

Thank you for posting this short preview of what you teach online and in the classroom. I grew up playing classical piano and started writing music in middle school, but I’ve never been comfortable writing melody first. When musical ideas come to me, they’re chord progressions, textures, rhythms and arrangements. Melodies rarely come to me, compared to all else. Is this a detriment I should strive to overcome? I don’t consider myself a very good melody writer, but maybe it’s because I’ve never really worked hard at it. I would love to know your opinion. Thank you in advance!

The way you compose music... the small little things that make you different from every other composer, your "detriments" (as you put it)... keep them! Don't fight them. That's what makes you unique! :) Just keep composing, practice, write music worth sharing! 💪

You are destroying yourselves as "composers" using DAWs and sample libraries. What you will subconsciously end up doing over time is write only for the samples that sound good, tempos that are easy to play/imagine, etc. Technology is designed for progress but in the music world it actually sets us back. Sad but true.
