7:00 Light Years are units of distance, not time... Also, you should learn how stars works, colliding Mercury with Earth is not gonna create star, stars are hydrogen-based, so you should throw planets with more hydrogen in order to turn Earth to a Gas Giant and than you can try creating a star from it, but that is still not gonna mean that you'll create a black hole. If you just wanted to create a black hole, you could have simply decreased the volume of earth while keeping the mass locked, thus increasing density, when Earth hits high enough density, it will turn to a black hole, your method of doing it in US2 is just bad, you haven't even achieved your main goal to create a black hole from earth...

to change earth in to a black hole you need to edit the density setting. but you will find out that chaging that setting alone wont affect the solar system. not even the moon. if you change the mass, it will have an effect. You basicly used the slow road by throwing in smal objects to increase the mass. but you never got ciritcal mass for a black hole since that kind of mass feeding (that can really happen when stars eat each other) would lead, in general, to a Type a Supanova, the most common one and very predicable.

Could you spawn a sphere of hydrogen the mass of Earth but compressed into a small radius the same as Earth in this game? Spawning objects of any composition and size you want would give more flexibility than already existing planets. It also would be much easier to create a super star since it would allow you to spawn hydrogen circles that have less mass than actual stars.

You can turn anything into a black hole by shrinking it. It's called the Schwarzschild radius, and it's equation is R=(2GM)/c^2, where R is the Schwarzschild radius, G is the gravitational constant, M is the mass, and c is the speed of light. For the earth, it would need to shrink to the size of a plum.

Also some tips, if you want to create a star, add gas and keep heating it up! Also of you want to make a black hole just make the star smaller until it is very small and test it if the planet is directly forced into the black hole

Actually... To make a black hole you just need to make the earth smaller, but the mass must stay the same. Besides that it is a really good video

an easy way to make a planetary black hole in this game is to just shrink the radius... but you know making an earth-star works too

I think what happened at about 12:40 was that Uranus smashed into earth, throwing mass that itd normally regain, but then Saturn, which was justttt slightly bigger at that time, ate it.

you got 2 ways to make a blackhole (in RL and in US2) 1. keep the mass constant and just make the object smaller until it will be dense enough to become a blackhole 2. keep adding mass to the object until it collapses into a blackhole
