@@PrettyBoyFemto I saw a question you asked in my KZbin Studio (separate app) that I don’t see on the video it says you left it on (KZbin takes comments down for wording sometimes, luckily it still shows up in the studio) but no, I myself wasn’t a part of a group. It depends state or federal, in federal some medium security’s and USP’s (high) you HAVE to be a part of a group but the group for guys not in a gang is called a “car.” So DC Maryland and Virginia white guys would be the DMV car, the whites from NC and SC and so on. Prison politics determine if you have to, but in general if you’re willing to stand up for yourself, have good manners, and don’t get into trouble (drugs, gambling, debts) you can make it through relatively easily. There’s an odd balance of do’s and don’ts. They target scared young white guys more than any other group (including older bigger white guys), that’s the demographic that usually gets picked out more than other but where I was there’s not a race that didn’t have someone become a victim of a predator or extortion.

Haha. Even if you cuss out a Christian group by accident while in prison, it's okay. We all serve a forgiving God, and if they are really a Christian group, they will forgive you too. All kidding aside, plenty of people are good guys who get locked up for stupid charges. However, plenty more are violent criminals, who are in there for very good reasons. For all you know, a group that claims to be a Christian group could actually end up "running a train" on you when you least expect it. It is better to err on the safe side and cuss them out, just in case.

I did the same! I went into jail 135 pounds but on bond trained kenpo karate open to close 4 hours a day 6 days a week and lifted weights like crazy so I wouldn’t have to put up with anyones BS. Now I’m a judo brown belt under Olympian Tarek Moneir, bjj blue belt under world champion Paulo Santana, and box with Scott Cujo Sigmon (Roy Jones Jr’s most recent opponent prior to Tyson). It all starts with a decision, I’d put on a good bit of muscle before prison but wasn’t super strong. I decided to powerlift and without protein powder or supplements I got up to a 565 deadlift (w/wraps, 535 no wraps or belt), 425 squat, and 305 bench at 172 pounds body weight. Even with all that strength and training if you don’t stand up for yourself it does you no good, so good for you man. As long as you’re not picking on anyone it’s all good, I can’t take being joked on (been in fights over getting laughed at) so I don’t joke on people, so it’s kind of an I don’t do and I won’t put up with thing, but I definitely get what you’re saying.

@@thedopesickshow :) This is really interesting! I hope that one day the system will recognize more this phenomena in more open way. Obviously we should make a clear difference if this is a awful assault (something that clearly cannot be tolerated) or something consensual. In the second case, I feel that the state should be open to provide some condom free - and have also the possibility for inmates to explore sexuality, it can be hard to manage our own life for long time behind the bars. I was shocked when I realized that HIV rate is so high from another video. @@Luca-tk7it I appreciate it bud!! It’s really not as common, there are plenty of not only willing but dudes who will approach ANYONE. There was a young stocky fellow at the low talking about how it sucked and he wanted to go to the medium, I told him he’d be approached by punks regularly and he’d much be better suited at the low. He said naw! Not me! And big Dink, a 6’6 350 pound black man white tattoos finger to face told him in his west voice “naw dawg, they approached me! Sad thing is I've never been to prison but have watched every documentary, show, etc. about prison. The documentary about being turned out in Alabama prison is probably one of the craziest ones I've seen. Especially, when they are retelling the story of them raping a Guyana making him put the lube on himself so it looks like he was willing. I wish they would do a where are they now documentary about J.G., Mindy and the rest of them. Lol.

The leave a mark thing is BIG! I’ve seen mismatched fights where the bigger guy beats the absolute piss out of the smaller guy plenty, BUT if the little guy blacks an eye or busts a lip or nose when everyone talks about it they say something along the lines of: guy one “did you hear George beat John’s @$s?” guy two “yeah, but did you see George’s eye?! John got a shot off on him!” and THAT makes a HUGE difference in reputation and how people approach John from then on. Fighting back and not getting a shot off is still better than allowing someone to cross what’s known as uncrossable lines in prison. Haha, and the caddie thing would best sum it up!

I think my previous comment was zapped by KZbin for length, so I'll keep it short this time: I have never gone to prison, but I almost did once. I was pulled over for doing 83 in a 50 mph "speed trap", where the speed limit dropped from 70 to 50 just after the interstate on-ramp. It was Memorial Day weekend, and luckily the cop was in a good mood. He reduced the speed on the ticket to 76, which meant that I had an EXPENSIVE speeding ticket, but I avoided a reckless driving charge (a felony in the state of Indiana, with a maximum prison sentence of 5 years). I saw this as a wake-up call that none of us are completely safe. The information in this video is all VERY good stuff to know just in case I ever have to do time. That being said, I have ALWAYS followed the speed limit since then, even if my passengers protest. I would not have faced possible prison time if I had been doing 70 in that 50 mph speed trap, and I could have avoided the ticket by taking a state remedial class (The officer was generous, but not THAT generous.

You weren't lying about the association thing. I was in for a short time, and I saw a guy actually get in a fight with a guard and go to the hole because they roomed him with a effeminate gay guy. People started teasing him immediately, and he was basically put in a position where he was forced to do something. He decided that he would rather go to the hole and get more time than be roomed with a "punk". I felt bad for both guys, but the guy really didn't have a choice. It was a matter of his own personal safety. He personally did not have a problem with gay people, but he couldn't let the rest of the yard see that. It's a crazy place.

The feds don’t mix and match, if you watch Convict Inc he discusses being at Butner with mob boss Carmine Persico and on that yard they had hundreds of chomos. They don’t have PC or SNY yards as the west calls it, but they do have a program for the chomos so ultimately half are chomos and half are locals. So basically being from Virginia most VA guys go to Petersburg or to West Virginia, as many Maryland and a ton of DC guys go to Petersburg because it’s local. Good luck jumping what’s ultimately half the population, 800+ chomos at the medium

It was actually an old military prison (the low at Petersburg) that was built in the 1930’s. No a/c, I’ve seen a good many old folks pass away from literally not being able to handle the heat.

@thedopesickshow2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I’m just getting back from a torn rotator cuff so I’m definitely going to be doing more training videos soon. I powerlifted in prison (the low security had weights) but ultimately found a few muscles I neglect were some of the most important in combat sports arts. I do A LOT of close sets and reps, being strong for one rep was cool for reputation in prison but fighting is about being strong for periods of time without wilting. I’ve got a couple grappling videos up with my coach, I’m just a bjj blue belt but he’s a world champ. I’ve been training judo 5 years and been a brown belt for 2, since most bjj gym’s lack in takedowns I’ve taken all but 1 opponent in my last 3 competitions getting double gold in the first two (the most recent was gi only, I lost on points). I’m not special, but judo has given me an advantage in bjj competition in the stand up. I box with Scott Sigmon and have considered asking him to do a video with me, he’s funny! He was also Roy Jones Junior’s most recent opponent prior to Tyson. He didn’t win but he went the distance and won a couple rounds in Roy’s hometown. I’m obsessed, I study all day. A quick workout I can tell you I do that simulates a fight very well is 1 minute of as many jump burpees (just kick out, kick up, jump, no push up) as I can which for me is usually 32-36 in a minute. This makes me literally hyperventilate where I can barely speak. Despite not being able to breathe I do 20 more jump burpees a minute per minute for 4 additional minutes. You’re hyperventilating and completely exhausted, but when it comes to grappling or a fight when you normally would gas out you learn to keep going and it also builds ridiculous endurance. Anyways, glad your here!

I’m stubborn and have just dealt with it and it’s nearly better. I knew it wasn’t a full tear, but rotator cuff injuries are deceptive because you have 4 muscles in the rotator cuff and while a couple can be torn and you can still have use of it. I DEFINITELY suggest judo or jiu jitsu! It changed my life and all the cravings and obsession of drugs was traded for obsessively studying techniques. It sucks you in and you become completely obsessed.

Never went to prison but I interviewed to teach in one. Just going in for that was intimidating. I was concerned for my safety just being there for that because there wouldn't be any guards around. Going through the security and locked gates, etc., being in close proximity to large criminals. Being an inmate and just being smaller and not a fighter would make someone like me a target. I wouldn't borrow anything or be too friendly and would try to stick up for myself, but I don't think it would matter.
