This laundry closet Makeover started months ago and I love how it turned out. I like that my laundry area is tucked away and in a spot you'd never think.
I also utilised the space to maximize what I get out of it.
It will also serve as my DIY tools storage and supplies closet.

Because that's my process. You can choose to do it before. I prefer covering my screws when painting.

Use a water based paint

Oil based paints will always have that kasmell because it's in the formulation... so I just 1) use high quality paint with a shorter touch dry period and 2) I paint it in the morning then leave it drying during the day. The good thing with paint these days, the smell doesn't linger like it used to back in the day. You only have to put up with it while painting.
